Will someone who has a 360 and gold who plans to pick up a XBO later in the summer/fall be able to log into xbox.com and "purchase" their free XBO games in June when they are available so that they can download them later when they get their console?

Since they removed the microsoft points, they changed something and now you need a CC or Paypal to download free stuff.

I just "purchased" the free Kinect Fitness off of Store.Xbox.com and I don't own a XB1. I don't see how they will block non-XB1 owners. As long as you have a valid Xbox Live Gold account with a payment method attached to your account, then I think you should be able to purchase the free games too.

Paypal stopped working for me after Titanfall for some reason :/ Plus the whole US marketplace is not liking my Dutch paypall, so I guess i'll roll with gift cards for now.

It's confirmed for June. They are giving Max and Spartan Assault.

Also for the XB1 version it's going to be the PS+ model (need a subscription to keep the games).

If that was the case Forza 5 and Ryse should be free. Games with micro transactions will be prevalent even if those micro transactions don't really do anything.

That said, I expect July's Xbox One games to be Lococycle and Strike Suit Zero.

But Sony does offer an instant game collection where Microsoft does not. I think they stick with 2 a month each available of half the month just like the 360 GwG with the differentiator being you don't keep the Xbox One games if your sub expires.

Since you can buy stuff from Xbox.com. I think you can obviously start adding stuff to your account.

You can add a prepaid card. I have a prepaid card attached to my Xbox Live Gold account and been obtaining free games from Live with the prepaid card.

the artist from the first Lords of Shadow game is on rime, so obviously it's gonna look gorgeous
