I'm not venting about the download stuff. Just found it weird.
I was playing Scram Kitty on the WiiU while the PS3 was downloading, so no big deal.
Yeah, I did play the game. But only for a few rounds before my ears had enough and I had to turn it off.
AsiaPS4 folks.
some questions
(1) are you guys going digital or retail?
(2) do you usually get R1 or R3 for your games?
R3 is usually cheaper but I'm using R1 for my main (especially my Vita)...

Marvelous AQL are such a scam boys. I have SS vanilla physical , i have spend full retail price then they come with a much better version but only digital ? no upgrade from vanilla , no discount , nothing. And i like much better SSD but 3g for my memory is too much! ....ill end up buy in it but i dont want to...I cant resist anymore. haha
didn't know marvelous aql controlled the price of this game

Assuming they have a PS4 store up (which they should) yeah. It should work the same way the PS3 does where you just have to create a new user on the system for that PSN account.

Good old R3. Generally,we asians, at least for PH, really love our stuff to be physical. There's a sense of ownership that isn't present in digital things. In most cases though, they just want to buy and trade 2nd hand games.

Asia also have Drakengard 3 retail version without having to deal with the horrible DR.

well it's not too bad. I cant seem to find any retail copies of ToG here. Tales games never seem to get enough copies printed

I'll have to pay more attention to them in the future, if there's a better English option I take it. (too bad I bought Delta before knowing about the retail release :/)

Managed to platinum GE2, it was a great time. Import it if you know a reasonable amount of Japanese, otherwise I hope it gets a localisation eventually so everyone can experience it

But you'll have a problem once they release some DLC, since they're region locked.

Freedom Wars does look very similar in play style to GE2 (Aren't the same team working on it or something?). At least when GE2 is eventually localised there'll be an online mode I assume. Kind of sucks not having that still and especially since by the time it's patched in most people will be done with all the content anyway.I guess we'll get the "G" version. I hope Bamco instantly localized GEB2 since they lately been on the role with Vita game localization. They could easily add another 300k with english release since GEB is quite established.
It's depend on the game. Demon's Souls for instance have region locked online play. If you have Asia version, that'll mean you can only play with other people rom that region. There are other game that lets you play online with anyone regardless of region, but which game, I don't know the exact list.

Depends on the game.
If you bought Street Fighter X Tekken off US PSN for example, and you play it on EU account, you'll be paired up against everyone worldwide (or choose the option to be matched up against your region).
It's a Bamco game right? Bamco mostly region free including DLC, so people could import their game without worry.

I live in Australia so that actually works out to about the same/a bit more as buying retail here. (heck vanilla Soul Sacrifice is still $54.95 for the retail version here)
Yeah that'd be a issue for Vita games, for PS3 ones I could always make a Asian account if worst came worst though.

Notch confirms Minecraft on Vita is 60fps, no bugs. Gameplay videos soon.
