His ending in Playstation All-Stars really felt like they were teasing the idea to me, I feel like MediEvil is up there with PaRappa in terms of PS1 series someone at Sony actually wants to see more of.

Edit: Uh, top of page recommendations, right? Well, like I just said- just bought Killzone Mercenary and I'm a little bit in love with it, as early as I am. The shooting and movement all feel really tight, it looks gorgeous, and something about the large levels with multiple paths + smaller scale + arcade-esque scoring system through money makes me feel like its the perfect way to make a bite-sized portable experience. Haven't tried any multiplayer yet, but just from the single players, I'm enjoying this way more than I did Shadow Fall.

I'm kinda hoping that the PS4 game that GC would make is a Medievil sequel.
 
Man, the Persona 2 Innocent Sin (new) and classic intro (it plays after idling on the main menu) are so amazing. I love both styles, even if they are both so far apart.

Are Hexyz Force, Riviera, Knights in the Knightmare, Kenko Bancho worth purchasing for $4.99? Which one would you recommend the most?

I noticed Strikers 1945 Plus was on sale for $2.99, so I got that as well.

Edit: Can someone recommend a good/well-aged action/racing game for PS1? Available for Vita. Something I can play in quick bursts.. (Like I'm enjoying Ridge Racer Type 4 these days)

I'm kinda feeling that Muramasa will be the next PS+ game seeing that the game and the DLCs are on sale.
 
Vitagaf should I get SS:Delta? Is the community active online? Does it has more or less userbase than the first one? I played the vanilla version and really liked it, but If it is more of the same or the userbase online is small I rather save the money. Thanks for any input.

SS:Delta is _incredible_, it has an active community and I always find games within a second. It looks incredible and is packed with content, highly recommended.

Yep.

Guerrilla Games announced that the next game they would make would be a new RPG IP. No news about Guerrilla Cambridge but they said they will work on a PS4 game.

At least that's the last news I've read.

You can play with the japanese players so the community is much bigger.

Well I technically quadrupled dip. Got the digital day one while I was waiting for my physical to arrive from Japan which
came the next day

In all honesty, it's not a bad game. Yeah you can take what I'm about to say with a grain of salt (since I obviously slant positive towards the XIII series with an exception to XIII-2) but LR is quite a challenge (in terms of recent FF games, X, X-2, XII, & XIII were easy and FFXIII-2 was literally baby's first rpg in terms of difficulty). The difficulty obviously isn't up there with FFIII (DS) or FFIV (DS) but I think it's on par with 4HoL in my opinion. The story is obviously nonsensical (but everyone should know that) but the battle system (in my opinion, the best jrpg battle system to date), customization and soundtrack is top tier

My only complaints of the game are some of the trashy looking costumes (but those are optional) and that it's a bit too short (>40 hours on your first run). Oh and Hope.

If anyone is on the edge of the game, pick it up when it's in bargain bin territory, you'll enjoy it.

I dont want to create a thread for this, but I need to express my mixed feelings!
After so many years, I sold today my PS3 and many games (including my Uncharted 1 bought at release, in perfect state T-T) by a trully bargain. The reason: I want both current gen consoles (and I dont have the money and neither the physical space in my room for one more console) and wasnt playing anymore anything on my PS3, so I chosed to sell it before it loses more and more value over time (and also because for the most I like my PS3 game copies, im now into this digital games now, and thinking deeply theres no point for me to keep a collection of games that I dont play anymore in the closet).
I need a friendly word saying to me that I probably did the best choice!!

It's the best choice because it's your choice. You simply found that the PS3 doesn't offer anything more for you. I hope you enjoy your PS4/Xbox One. One could never go wrong as long as you still have fun. :D
 
why are some games on XBL Store and not on PSN
(i.e. Eternal Sonata)

hmm what should I do with my PS3 Retail games
should I sell them when the digital version is on sale?
I'm kinda thinking of going Full Digital on the PS4 - the price is a bummer... but running out of shelf space haha and the convenience is a HUGE plus

I like that Bandai Namco are more open to listening to petitions than other videogame publishers if the number's high enough, it worked for Dark Souls so you never know.

The servers are worldwide now so I'd say the community's at least larger.

I wouldn't sell or buy any of them again unless PS Now is confirmed to support digital games.

-Folklore- Worth it. Kinda gets repetitive though because you have to traverse the same map twice using 2 characters.
-Eternal Sonata - Not sure but I had fun.
-Asura's Wrath - Best QTE game ever. If you're not a fan of QTE, don't buy. But it's like an anime in itself. Made by CC2(.//hack and Naruto) so you can rest assured the animations is superb.
-El Shaddai -Haven't played this. I heard it's good though.
-NieR -Best OST and Story for me. Gameplay is servicable but fun nonetheless because of its genre changing properties like turning into a bullet hell, horror or platforming game.
- Heavy Rain -Cinematic game where every decision counts. Multiple endings and quite suspenseful story. Had fun using the shaun glitch at the end. I recommend watching this for laughs. parody
-- Star Ocean IV International - Very good battle system. Kinda bit grindy with the in-game trophies though. Do not pay attention to the story. I liked it.
-Resonance of Fate - Story is very fragmented but has an awesome and new battle system with amazing customizations of weapons and clothes. I liked it very much. Kinda like a prototype for FFXIII-LR costume customizations. (It's a square enix game too.)

Doesn't help that one ace combat was locked to a specific platform that I have no interest in and the other ace combat was basically like CoD: Airplane Editon

I mean, regenerating health? the fuck is that nonsense Scamco.

Some people grew weary of Capcom, Square, Konami, etc last generation, but Namco was the one that lost my faith.

Hell, I don't even trust them with Smash. I know Sakurai is still at the helm, but lord knows Scamco can sneak in some trickery into those games
 
Random question, but have any of you had a game that you've downloaded from PSN randomly delete itself? Played some Octodad on Sunday, got a trophy or two, then put it down until today when I wanted to get a few minutes in only to find that it was gone. Checked my Library tab and there it was but with the Download icon.

Re-downloading it now and I assume all will be well but I just thought that was super strange. Definitely the first time this has happened to me on the PS4.

Did not happen to me but happened to a few people with the PS4 too. This happened not just on a single game but on multiple games.

I guess a 1.7 bug?

I remember their being a poster here like 6 months ago complaining that like all but 3 of his downloads vanished but they still showed up his SEN account. He had no way of downloading them though

Thanks for the quick replies. Yeah, I've had zero issues with PSN (other than store updates being on GCT) or downloading anything-- and activating downloads from the webstore while I'm at work has always been a breeze.

Hoping this was a one-off thing and not a sign of things to come. I don't imagine my progress (but lets be real, it's only Octodad lol) will be affected and I can continue where I left off if my saves are still there.

Yes, just be sure to back up your saves in the cloud or in a file storage.
 
I'm starting to think Sony is sitting on a lot of near complete Vita stuff just waiting to announce it at E3. Like the rumored Ratchet and Clank Vita games
