Yeah, the first boss you encounter is meant to kill you.
Also i'd advice you not to pick Royalty since it makes the game easy mode.
A good class would be temple knight, decent starting stats and melee focused, however you might want to take some of that armor off unless you like fat rolling for some crazy reason.
Get psyched for only being able to play as him in Arena 2 by also playing as Ken.
Not going to happen. :'(

He doesn't make sense in the story. He doesn't really interact with other party members all that much and feels unnecesary IMO.
Persona 3 has some really good "core characters" (Mitsuru, Junpei and Yukari) but the others aren't that good. Playing the FeMC route could change my opinion, but this is how things are now.
In Persona 4, on the other hand, the whole party felt necesary. And Nanako made sense since it was part of your family. And I'm happy that she wasn't a playable character. I don't get why JRPGs love having 11-13 years old kid all that much.

I love my Vita, I just want some new games for it. I'm tired of everyone treating it like a PS4-companion-device or way to play old games without piracy.

Sony is so messed up. I didn't purchase Growlanser Wayfarer's of Time because it only shows 'PSP' on the PSN store website, yet it can be purchased on the Vita with no problem.
I almost missed out!

Yes, that works perfectly. When I bought the vita slim, I sold my OG vita to get it. I had popped out my 64 GB memory card, deactivated the old system, then when I bought the 2000 I put in the card, activated it, and my games and saves were there.
I got some PS3 cases from Amazon. They weren't the cheapest in the world and I'm not sure where they ship to but its an option.
