I love this stream so much. Barkerville and the Amplidoodles, can't wait to see it get funded and for Pope to get hit by a pie.

Has anyone from HMX answered what will happen to Chroma when Amplitude is funded? If it's getting put on the backburner, being outsourced, or continued with limited resources.

You misrepresent me, which is disappointing since you've apparently read my posts, where I CLEARLY state that, Instead of the first 1000, I suggested they ought to have kept it for the first 5k or 10k people. I tried to back on the 2nd day and was unable to. Broken age didn't eliminate their $15 tier until 30 days had passed. That's what I judge other kickstarters on.

All this said, Yes. I feel like $15 kickstarter pledge to get a $20 retail game price
(it's not "almost certainly", it's certain, as harmonix have stated unequivocally in the messages you have (supposedly) read.
is absolutely, perfectly, utterly, undoubtedly, completely reasonable and in no way, shape or form the ludicrous idea you suggest it is.
Why are you in this thread? You aren't going to pledge and you've already made it clear why, no need to shit the thread anymore with this shit.

If you had spent all the time you've spent in this thread whining about 5$ in following the Kickstarter page, you could've gotten into the 15$ tier at some point when people upgrade their pledges & free up their 15$ pledge.

Chroma is already being co-developed with Hidden Path Entertainment, so I doubt this will have any major impact if it gets funded.

stop trying to derail the positivity of this thread over FIVE DOLLARS

Nobody is trying to derail anything (positivity is a train??). Every time I post, this thread gets bumped and gets more visibility and potentially more backers, which is GOOD!

In case you haven't realized, I'm going to buy this game when it releases. You're arguing with ghosts

You're free to disagree. Maybe you don't love money like I do :)

This is the first kickstarter I've backed so I don't have anything to compare it to in terms of pricing. But all I'll say is I don't see Kickstarter as a way for players to get a discounted copy of the game, like you seem to. Every game / developer is different and it's impossible to know but those $15 copies of Broken Age probably only barely made them money if that. I see Kickstarter as a way to help devs make the game, thats the whole point. Harmonix is telling you that the $15 pledge that includes the game isn't helping them make the game, if they sold 5000 or 10000 it would actually be hurting them. That really should be the end of this whole discussion. Amplitude is a known quantity, it didn't sell well but had a cult following. To make money it would need to rely on those who loved the PS2 game to buy it, and most likely the people backing the kickstarter are those cult fans so selling the game to that audience at a loss isn't going to make the game successful.

On top of that, Double Fine has a much larger fanbase than Harmonix does, not to mention their game was PC had a much larger campaign etc. etc.

They need more than 100k in 24 hours. Nope. Still not buying it.

Better open up another 35 tier or face sudden doom.

When I woke up this morning it was quite a way from 600K, I'm now going to bed and it's at over 650. There's two days left, and the last day is always the quickest... It's going to be funded unless things slow down.

If they miss the goal by less than 50k u think they will ditch the project?

If they don't hit the goal, they don't get a single cent, so it will be a heartbreaking defeat.
It might set them up for a decent relaunch, but at this point, it's likely all or nothing for keeps.

Just backed!
Only $20 but its all I can afford right now.

I trust that it will be funded though I would love a Vita version as well, Hopefully we will get enough money for them to develop one.
But I could live with just a PS4 version.

I can't believe how close they've come to their goal. The Feezepop backer email made me sad because I was sure this would fall short.

I'd love to see some new backer tiers. Not tempted by the physical rewards, maybe they should promise a backer track where you can get your picture into the game or something... I'd like to increase from my 40 USD and will of course if it's looking bad.
