Wow, a non-zero number of people have actually voted for my suggestions in the poll above other candidates? I picked "Shh, no tiers. Only memes now.", but that frontrunner is certainly a good choice. I don't think there's actually been a thread title based on one of Sakurai's Miiverse posts, which is a bit of a missed opportunity.

I voted for "A Song of Ice Climbers & Fire" (though I think "Ice Climbers & Fire Emblem" would be funnier).
I don't think we need another Ridley-related title, and the one we had was already the best one there ever will be.

So I bought Fire Emblem Awakening a few days ago.
Was just about to finish chapter 6 which I'd been stuck on for like 5 hours now and then the enemy commander gets a critical hit and kills one of my people so I have to restart. Fuck stupid random chance shit like that.
Other than that though Chrom is pretty cool and I'd be happy if the rumour of him being in Smash is true.

er....what level is Chrom and/or Robin at? that boss is pretty slow, you should be able to double him easily

Since Pac-Man will probably be revealed in a few weeks, I’d like to touch on something that was brought up last month — the mysterious Special Flag item.
I believe the Special Flag will merely be an Assist Trophy variant, and it won’t be considered a separate item. It might even only show up when Pac-Man is in the fight. Sakurai likes giving us inconspicuous hints months in advance (boxing ring, Final Destination stage toggle, etc.), and I believe this is no different.

The big question: why?
After thinking it through, the answer is pretty obvious — Pac-Man just doesn’t have any plausible Assist Trophy options from his own series. Ms. Pac-Man is just a re-skinned Pac-Man, and the ghosts will probably be stage hazards or even a special move. Nobody cares about whatever enemies might have appeared in the recent Pac-Man games, and so it makes sense to instead include a couple of old Namco arcade sprites.

Maybe this will be revealed tomorrow (that it's for namco trophies), but I doubt it. This seems like "Smash Direct" worthy info, though it was revealed w/ screenshots after the direct.
I think it will be explained at E3.

Is there any evidence that Pac-Man will be in, besides the Gematsu leak?
... Don't see how you can come to that conclusion considering Avatar absorbs the spotlight from him making him a slightly more important side character. Story hardly depends on him being present. A weak character after having Ike.

Chrom is 6 and Robin is 8.
I had the boss beat if it wasn't for the crit. Chrom did about 1/3 of his health, then Robin did another 1/3 and I had two more people in range to finish him off but Robin got crit and 1 shot...
I have a good strategy for the level now though so I should beat it next time (if there's no more crits).
Oh and can I get a replacement Killing Edge easily? Lon'qu is absolutely dominating atm but I don't know if that'll stay true if I have to give him an iron sword or something.

if you're still using him at all, Frederick paired up with Lon'qu at base level can one round the boss with a Silver Lance
edit: as for a Killing Edge, you can buy them.....eventually, so don't go to crazy with it
that being said, you can get a few more before that point, so don't go into RPG player syndrome and never use it

If Pac-Man was revealed to be an Assist Trophy... what Namco rep would be next in line? It can't be a Soul Caliber or Tekken character since Sakurai said no fighting game characters... are there any other Namco characters with even a fraction of the iconic power of Pac-Man?
