Anybody can recommend me a good battery pack for the Vita? I know that not all USB chargers work because of some pin incompatibility but there are workarounds? The officiall Vita one probably has some hefty accessoire margin so I want to buy another solution, which may even have a better size/power tradeoff.
Will join South East Asia Vitagaf for 3 months on an internship and my long distance flight could need some more Vita time.

Grandia is on sale, get that instead then if you have a Vita (though it might be 50 Hz....)

Yes, I think we just have different taste. I also miss the good old days of point and click adventure games so I easily got on your hype train. Sadly, those games didn't do much for me. Despite all its faults, I am still eagerly awaiting episode 2 of Broken Sword 5 though. Already payed for it and the story was interesting.

Regarding Strider for PS3 -

Frost made a lot of very valid points about Metroidvania games, and how Strider doesn't do much of makes those games good in the first place. I believe it was in the April thread. It was quite the write up. But, it was well thought out and provided some good intel on it. If you can find it, read it, but I am at work so alls I can do is bring attention to it.

To be honest, I didn't really read frost's post carefully because I don't care much about Strider anyway and with him being a big fan of the franchise, the critique is surely harsher than usual. But so far I agree on games with him more often than not so I'll stick to that.

Based on every PS2 port on Vita, I wouldn't be so sure of that.

Not sure about San Andreas but the Liberty City port for Android ran okay for my tegra 3 tablet which is significantly less powerful then the Vita in term of raw gpu power.

But hey who knows it is Rockstar after all.

Since there isn't a PS3 version of San Andreas to down port from, they'd port the mobile version I would imagine. So maybe it would run well.

Well, I know sometimes the convenience and assurance of dumping a game at an easy location is worth more than dealing with strangers on ebay/craigslist or even here in the BST thread, depending on what the difference in value is. I know I always trade in my old textbooks to amazon even though I could get 10-20% more selling on craigslist/to underclassmen, but amazon is quick and certain and no hassle.

That said, Nier PS3 used sells for $30 on the low end, thats 250% more than what you got!

Nier was missing the boxart and manual. Don't really care that I got less than I could have for those two. Less work for me.

edit: Also I only paid $10 for Nier and $25 for Beyond so I made a profit on Nier and only lost a couple bucks on Beyond

I have the police report filed and I'm just waiting on a call from the insurance adjuster. They'll replace the stuff, but I have a $1000 deductible to pay out first.

I do have one chance to catch the bastards, though. The tablet is connected to my Android Device Manager. So I keep hoping they connect it to wifi so I can ping its location. If I succeed, I'm calling the cops right then and there.

Thats why I appreciate the always a digital version too method for PS4 and vita, you can debate physical vs. digital and each have merits but digital is way easier for finding random niche games 10 years down the road.
