Is the credits teaser mid-credits or post-credits? And if post, how long are the credits?

Post

Infinite

And you should watch it all beacause free music and all those people who worked hard for the movie should be remembered when someone say to boycott this movie because of whatever Singer did =P

Dat ending.

Really hoping we get the Dougherty/Harris/Singer team up we deserve next film.

I read in THR today that Singer filed a motion to dismiss his case based on evidence that he apparently wasn't in Hawaii at the time of his alleged assault.

Man, I really hope the line to get in isn't incredibly long. Going to the 10pm or 1045 showing at an AMC that's located inside of a mall. I don't want to be sitting in the front of the theater :(

Still can't believe that theaters in the US don't have proper booking and seat selection systems.

It's ridiculous, right. When I lived there, this was a big reason I would only go to the Arclight theatres.

Here in Aus, it's harder to find a theatre WITHOUT a seat booking system.

Yep, the movie is amazing. I went in unprepared yesterday, without having seen any of the previous X-Men movies basically since they released. I am now rewatching X1, X2 and First Class - prepping me and my wife - and go again on Sunday! Can't wait (again)!

I know people like to bitch about Marvel getting the rights back for X Men, but I'm quite happy with the rights staying with Fox. Obviously they've had a few misses, and some details are a mess, but it would be a total waste not to see this cast continue the franchise.

Good. That's how it's supposed to be! Lol.

Yeah I wish there was something like that here too; it's getting really fucking annoying booking tickets maybe a week in advance, showing up to the cinema an hour in advance like I did last night, picking my seat about halfway up the aisle, very centre seat, then having ushers come in and ask if you would move over since there's a group of people who would all like to sit together. It's happened on more than one occasion, on which I just politely decline to move.

If you want the good seats, and to be there in a group... get there on time and don't upset everyone else patiently waiting to see the film.

I'm going to Flix Brewhouse. It's a lot like Alamo Drafthouse; they serve food and beer, but it's slightly more modern with buttons to call for a waiter and trays you can pull out

I think you're allowed to say 'fuck' once in a 12A film as long as it isn't being used in a sexual manner, I think. I loved how they put it to use in DoFP.

Yeah, I loved that scene. There were quite a few shits as well if I'm remembering correctly. Is that no longer considered a swear word in the same way fuck is?

So those who watched it, better than First Class? Which is mine and what appears to be the public's favorite X-Men movie.

The only problem with that is I use ticket passes that I buy for less money from a grocery store. I can't buy tickets online because they need to be bought in person with these passes. Now if we could choose a seat at the ticket booth that would be nice, is that how it works where you are?

It's much better than First Class. But then so is X2 and X1.

If there's one unforgivable thing about this film, it's that there isn't enough Quicksilver.

so which xmen movies must i (re)watch before seeing this?

watched everyone besides skipping last stand around launch or dvd launch.

I remember the wolverine and some of last stand plot beats, but i remember nothing from the original trilogy.

Yep. Here when you book online, they ask for a voucher code and it automatically adjusts the price once it recognises it.

I personally think it's slightly better than First Class, but it's so hard to call. I would put it in that same tier as First Class and X-Men 2. They're really tough to choose between, each is as good as the other.

Yes. It's my favourite of the entire series.

You don't HAVE to watch anything, but you'll get more enjoyment from DOFP if you've seen X-Men, X2 and First Class.

I don't like the movie that much because of an over abundance of plot convenience, over-reliance on the same characters, and uneven story.

I would argue that what crimson spider said is right, in that other characters are just treated as cgi-power displays. Like glorified cameos.

It is a fault where a more talented creative team could weave them into the story better. But x-men has kinda always been a super hero movie about a world filled with powered individuals. It's kind of the point. Unlike other superhero movies, where it seems only the main characters possess powers in a human world.

At any rate, I would say crimson spider hasn't wrong, and whatever reviews he read seem on the money, I would argue that he should watch it anyways, as a fan of the x-men. It's ok to pay money to watch an interpretation of characters you like, even if you think it might be not to your liking. Who knows maybe you'll enjoy it, but point is you should make up your own mind on it.

Don't key reviews "decide" for you about whether a movievisbgoidbor bad. Sure, fine, read reviews to inform you and get hyped or disinterested as necessary, and use that to decide if you want to go. But don't discuss the qualities without being properly informed.

X1, X2, FC and the extra scene in Wolverine. Ignore the rest.

At the AMCs here you can select your seats at the ticket window.

I agree with this. I rewatched X1, X2 and First Class before going to DoFP.. they make for a perfect series of X-Men films.

Yeah, there have been a few reasons to dismiss the claims apparently. I hope his name is cleared.

Yes. I can either book tickets online or buy them at a booth, and I get to pick the seats I want. Every ticket for any cinema here has a seat number on it. There's no free seating.

I guess we aren't that special yet :( I have yet to be asked to choose a seat here in SoCal, thought I haven't tried LA yet.

I loved the movie and was really happy with the ending.

Bbbbbut dis look so bad
His costume still looks like shit.

Also, you've got an almost-but-not-quite naked woman parading around for the entire duration of the movie (not to mention fairly brutal comic book violence) and people are taking issue with the swearing?

They don't sexualize her like they did in all the other movies. On top of that...you don't see a whole lot of her body.

Wasn't expecting anything from the movie based on the last few I saw (fell asleep near the end of wolverine, walked out of first class) but with the positive buzz I think I'll try and check it out this weekend.

First class had pretty similar buzz, haha.

If you walked out of the last good one, why would you see this?
