Amplitude (Harmonix) PS3/PS4 - KS (Funded, final day)

heh, CodeHero made me feel burned on KS. Even after DoubleFine Adventure shipped part 1.
These 3 are the only ones I've backed, and I have been way pickier after code hero.

Yeah, CodeHero and Pixel sand have left a bitter taste in my mouth. Wary of KickStarters, thanks to them.

I've got the original Amplitude, but all of this is making me want to get a copy of Frequency. I remember playing the demo back when it came out, but never got around to buying it.

Really hope this doesn't fall off in the last 24 hours...I think we should be good though.

It won't, looking at the current pace it will be funded within 10-15 hours and I'm looking forward to see Vita stretch goal for the last few hours. Hopefully Sony lets them to make Vita too with support for that.

Threw in $20 last night, haven't played the original game but this seems cool enough. Would probably throw in some more money if there was a Vita stretch-goal.

I'd actually be cool with dpad + face buttons for notes / power-ups, and triggers to change tracks. For both console and handheld versions.

For those who are asking for a Vita version: how should the controls work on Vita?

L/R - change lane
DPAD left/square - left note
DPAD up/Triangle - middle note
DPAD right/Circle - right note

Rockband Unplugged played just fine on PSP and the tracks had 4 notes.

It's awesome that this is so close to getting funded.
Have loved Harmonix since the day I played Amplitude.
Come on, guys, let's do it!

I spent too much time on Rockband Unplugged and Lego Rockband DS. But yeah, the control scheme works perfectly.

With special touchscreen variant maybe? D-pad L/R for lane change and tap the nodes?

I've never played Amplitude. I HAVE played DJ Max Technika Tune! Please don't hit me if this is the worst idea you've ever heard.

Holy shit.

This went from certain failure to possible stretch goals.

I would have made a bet that this thing would have failed. Thats how certain I was.

Wow, I haven't checked on this for a few days. It looks like they might actually make it! That's pretty awesome (and pretty surprising).

$25k to go in 24 hours. This has been the most intense and surprising Kickstarter I've ever followed. I'm glad they're getting the chance to make another Amplitude.
