That would be epic, but probably not going to happen. Does Nintendo have any other big games slated for this summer? I can't really think of any of the top of my head.
We blasted through 23 pages yesterday, so...
If we had gotten a lame POTD yesterday the thread might have survived until monday.

The model from Hyrule Warriors looks good in comparison to the artwork(even though I think it is a bit more feminine than the concept).

Trust me, just because these fan artist can show brief moments of self-awareness doesn't mean that they aren't actually in to what they're drawing.

Oh hey, I know who this is. She's pretty active in the Ridley thread on Smashboards. I wish I could draw that well. Although, that is an interesting interpretation of Ridley.

Thought I'd go ahead and make a roster for myself. I went with a more conservative 45 characters (I think anything above 50 is...unlikely,) with 11 newcomers and 4 getting the axe - Lucas, Wolf, Snake, and ROB.
That roster makes me sad, I'd be really underwhelmed by a character count that doesn't reach at least 48. Especially after the Salromano leak.

The way I look at it is whenever Nintendo gives a window or range for dates or prices its usually an exact marker as to say "the latest/most expensive possible within that range".

Basically my roster with Roy and Sukapon in place of Isaac (I have 55 characters). I'd be ok with Roy, as long as he's declonified, though I doubt FE would get 4 characters, all swordsmen, that'd be kind of overkill. As for Sukapon, I really don't care, though it could work as a WTF character like Mr.Game & Watch and ROB. However I wouldn't trade Isaac for them, never.

Excellent stuff, I liked the switch up with the FE characters being disappointed in the update instead of Ridley.
I would hope Smash 3DS is released on the same date world-wide, but if not I guess I'll cope with having the game a month before NA SmashGAF
Indeed. There's going to be assloads of "we told you so" both ways. After which point I'm going to have to leave SmashGAF for the time being until the obnoxiousness dies down.

So with Ike can anyone think of any possible buffs for him since he was powerful but slow in Brawl.
I thought his side B when used in the air, if it connects with an opponent, would have a meteor effect and you would cut through whoever you impacted with and go the whole distance horizontally instead of having it blocked and falling down. And if his eruption move connects without a charge, maybe you could super jump from it into an aerial attack or something. Maybe this would overpower him. I enjoyed using him and Ganondorf in Brawl despite their sluggishness but I wouldn't mind some buffs for them.

Fortunately Ridley won't be totally confirmed out till after the game is released so I'll be too busy playing Smash Bros. to care about that.

Eh, I don't think things will get that bad if Ridley's deconfirmed. I know that there are some people who really get their jollies off on pissing on the hopes and dreams of Ridley fans, but I think the majority of those on #TeamNoRidley are those who would really like to see him in the game, but are just cynical about his chances, especially after the Smash Direct, and therefore wouldn't be nearly as cruel to Ridley fans as those few asshole trolls would be.

What's even worse is that people continue to make Ridley some big deal. He isn't some special character. I honestly wish both sides of this stupidness don't don't get what they want. So Sakurai should make Other M Ridley playable.

Edit: Seriously, though, weather he's playable or a boss, Ridley's gonna have his Other M design. Samus & Zamus both have their Other M desgins, and the stage he's suppose to appear in is based on location from Other M, so it just seems obvious that we're getting Worst Ridley.
