I didn't see this posted anywhere, but apparently starting with Destiny ALL pre-ordered games will have the pre-load function on PS4. They had said previously that it was going to start with Destiny, but I think we were all assuming it was going to be on a game by game basis like it is on Steam.

Muramasa's a given..right?

Have they in the past put a game on PS+ for free the month after it was on sale? Actual question, I can't think of an example. If they have, it's possible. If they haven't seems like they would want to wait a bit to not anger people who just bought it on sale.

They have and I think they said they're sorry and will try not to do that again

Now that I've platinum'd VLR, I'll need to move on to a new Vita game. I'm thinking about focusing on Transistors on the PS4, but maybe for the handheld I'll look into Totori.

Try FFX/X-2. I'm more than 200 hours on it (maxing everything) and should platinum it soon.

I must resist getting HYPED to the max for E3. I am setting myself up for disappointment.

LOL @ Killatopak getting the banhammer.

Last year Sony dedicated less than 3 minutes to Vita iirc. Then only thing that makes me think it could be better this time around is the new boss at Sony.

Personally, I hope for nothing. But in guessing 64gb card announcement (one of Vita's main profit makers) and a couple of ports. I used to want Ico & SotC HD to come to Vita, but after seeing what they did to GoW, I'd rather have Sony leave that game alone.

And what the hell with all the bans? Did I miss something while watching the Champions League final?

For the new guy to show Vita things at E3, he first needs Vita things to exist. That is Yoshida's job, and lol with that.

I wonder if Sony intends on releasing a single screenshot, trailer, or even basic information for this game before it launches in a few days. The developers must feel like total shit.

Sony has been really terrible with the positioning of that game. It was announced at the Gamescom show floor, but was never acknowledged on the PlayStation Blog until a month later: http://blog.eu.playstation.com/2013/09/11/lemmings-touch-marches-onto-ps-vita-soon/

They then released review codes, a handful of screenshots, and the LBP costumes last week with no release date:

My project for the summer is going to be FFX/X-2 platinum.
along with XIII-2 and LR platinum, eff the haters! Already have XIII plat
I would've gotten it already, but I re-played X and X-2 a little over a year and a half ago and still have my save files with basically all the reqs for the platinum, so I had to mentally ready myself to do that all again. Not sure what I'm dreading most, probably the constant fear in X-2 that I missed something in the guide I am following that will cause me to fall below 100% completion because the map only shows whole % not the decimals.

64gb memory card would be perfect. We shouldn't have to beg for things like this since it's pretty much pure profit margin for Sony anyway. What are they charging for 32gb nowadays? I was in Target today and they had 16gb for $60 which seemed high to me.

As far as ports go, I'm typically very easy to please with ports as long as they aren't buggy messes. Frame rate doesn't bother me as much as games just being riddled with bugs. It seems that Sony is unwilling to do anything but ports so here's hoping for the best.

Oh wow, they did release some screens! Thanks. Looks... alright I guess. Seems to actually be a new game instead of the same old PSP remake ported over for the 800th time!

But yeah, I saw the Lemmings Touch costumes for LBP getting all sorts of attention on the PS Blog instead of the actual game and just cringed.

Yeah, visually it's rough. I think the Worms games have terrible art direction, but Team 17's Lemmings looked better. Oh well, at least this one is trying to do something new. I've heard some positive impressions too.

Btw, I'm more than 200 hours only on FFX. I haven't even touched X-2 yet :)

I know that FFX-2 is a nightmare to plat without a guide. i'm thinking about just a simple play through first and then going for the platinum next year. Haven't decided yet.

Oh, I can certainly understand. I don't even know how many hours my FFX PS2 save has, I have every monster arena monster, the entire Sphere Grid is complete for every character... Yea, I like FFX a lot. Also played it at a time in my life where I had a lot of free time but no money to buy new games, so it was all I had for like 4 months!

But as for FFX-2, I'm actually not sure if I would recommend to a new person playing through first with or without a guide. The non 100% ending is utterly unsatisfying, and the mission structure means that you aren't really spoiling where to go or what to do with a guide, simply the order with which to do it. But playing through once with no preconceived notions is always fun in a game, and that definitely holds for X-2. Man, I wish that game didn't have such a strict 100% path, it would be the same as today putting a different missable trophy every 15 minutes in a game, with some of them being incredibly arbitrary and random.

Hay Gaf, decided to give P4G one more final run :D; missed a good bit during my first playthrough so tackling new game plus sounds great :).

Gotta say, New game plus is a great reward for beating the game,
as you now have a customizable difficulty level, can 're-buy' all of your gear + high level personas, and even hold on to items you got from maxing out social links (I assume that is for the trophy; you can't have ALL the social links in one play through...)

Gotta thank NeoGaf once more for recommending me the game; really fell in love with it :). Its now my top RPG next to Mario RPG and Kingdom Hearts 2 :D. Also gotta thank you guys for helping me get the normal + true endings (almost just got the bad ending...).

Looking forward to next week too; between Sly Collection landing on Vita (which, hopefully, has cross-buy working not only in US but for separate games...only own Sly 1 and 2; hated the third one :(....it was Sonic Adventure all over again X() and my birthday coming within the next week (might get another Vita memory card....if Sony has price drops on them...).

No, you actually need to have all social links maxed in one playthrough for the trophy - the items that let you fuse maxed SL personas don't affect that.

With that being said, you have more than enough time to max everything, even on a first playthrough.

I am personally more hyped for SCEE's time to shine (Gamescom) than SCEA. Although the allure of them having a new boss is making me feel atleast confident that he will somehow throw a bone for the Vita users.

But what about the after school social links? From what I remember, you can only join the drama/music clubs once (only per playthrough)...I think. Unless you mean that once the fall comes in the game, you can join the other club you didn't sign up for.

Thanks for the heads up though :).

Lol, one of my problems is that I have as much (or as little) time as I want, since I work freelance, and FFX had made my last couple of months my least productive this year so far. No regrets though. :)

Thanks for the advice on X-2. I really need to think how I'm going to get about that game. Will be re-playing Silent Hill Origins once I'm done with FFX. Did I mention it looks GREAT on Vita?

Same here. As much as the new guy around makes me have some hope for E3, my favorite Vita shows are always Gamescom and TGS. I hope Gamescom brings some new announcements (Tearaway 2 pleaseeee) and that TGS gives us FFXII HD, Phantasy Star Nova release date and Gravity Rush 2.

I'm more excited for Apple's WWDC. Can't wait!

Poor Killa :l

Same here! Seems something big is on for WWDC this year if the conference and sessions teasers are anything to go by.

You're right that the school culture club and sports team choices are both mutually exclusive, but whichever choice you make, it'll still be a Sun/Strength arcana social link.

What's wrong with the PS4/Vita versions?

From the first few levels I've played of the vita version I'd say nothing. Not sure what he's talking about.

He's probably talking about the matchmaking with friends screwing up on the PS4, pretty sure that got patched. I'm still looking to get back to this myself on PS4.

ah! yeah thanks... it was the matchmaking issues on ps4. thought there were bad frame drops too. But as Jesb says it's been patched, which is what I was wondering.

cheers

200 hours?! This has to be the longer game to platinum then. Haven't played this game in years, so I'll pick this up at some point.

Congrats! No Exclusive Left Behind

You can do it a lot faster, but I'm taking my time exploring and grinding. I'm getting several best armors of different kinds (including BHPL and Ribbon) for all characters. I'm also maxing out all celestial weapons and stats, including Luck for everyone, which in itself takes a lot of time.

I could rush it, but my goal is not to platinum the game just for the sake of the trophy, it is to do everything in it that I can do and have the most fun while doing it (I like the FF series that much). The trophy is just a nice bonus for me.

Got a great deal on a Final Fantasy X-II Vita download code. Any video or anything I can watch that'll explain everything I need to know from Final Fantasy X?
And in terms of gameplay, I'm a bit new to Final Fantasy, will I be okay or?

we need the PS4 and Vita to be able to upload to Cloud Storage for all those screenshots and videos :/

(tried to suggest on the share blog... but wasn't approved?)
