Monster Monpiece is $29.99.

You also reminded me that for whatever reason, Sony has stopped doing 10% discounts on their PSN releases of Vita games.

Wasn't there a loophole that gave people free God of War? If I were Sony, I'd stay away from it for a while. ;)

The loophole involved a full game trial for the GoW collection, so all they have to do is not offer a trial for Sly and they don't have to worry! No cross buy always sucks.

Well, I hope they've tested the demo titled "Sly Cooper and the Thievius Racoonus™ Full Game Trial" to see if the same things happens... :)

With all the time that went by, I'm just not sure about Watch_Dogs anymore. I'll put it in the maybe pile.

This is a ... um ... card battle ... um ... game with monster ... uh ... girls. Sorry, I keep looking at this GIF and getting distracted. What the hell, people?
Just say "Compile Heart."

What do I do now that I've finished P3P? I put in 30 hours into it over the course of like 10 days so now I have nothing to do :lol I mean I'm watching The Answer on youtube, but then what?

Welcome to your empty post-Persona life. Maybe try the older games since they're on sale at the moment. They don't play like 3 or 4 at all, but it's something to do.

I'll pass. I already thought P3P was tedious there's no way I'd be able to handle anything earlier than that

Have you played Persona 4 yet?

If yes, have you played Persona 4 Arena yet?

Yeah I played and beat P4G for the first time last year. I initially didn't want to get it because of my experience with P3P/Tartarus. I almost didn't get it, but I got convinced to buy it since it was $20 at the time and people reassured that the dungeon portion of the game was much better than P3Ps. I ended up finishing it within 3 weeks. :)

Haven't touched P4A. Been waiting to beat P3P (something I thought would never happen) first to play (or watch?) P4A.

Monster Monpiece is a really good card game if the rubbing minigame isn't too off-putting.

I wonder if it will have a demo (and wish it would if it doesn't). I'm interested in this aside from the rubbing, which doesn't bother me nor does it interest me, but I am very polarized on card games. I either thoroughly enjoy them or hate them, and it's usually pretty random. For example, everyone is all over Hearthstone as an awesome card game, but I didn't like it at all. Really want to try this one before buying it to see if the gameplay is a hit for me.

Good to know it's actually solid. I've been hankering for an offline portable cardgame for a while.

It's not crazy deep but there's an aura system where playing cards of the same element gives you more mana, and you can upgrade cards of the same type (beast, dragon, etc) by playing the same type on top of one you already have down. Advanced cards also have modifiers on them that are either straight buffs, like an extra mana generated, or a trade-off, like higher attack on an archer but the card can't move and just stays where you play it.

While the rubbing is required to upgrade cards, I'm pretty sure it only has to be done one time per card. After that you can just pay the point cost and upgrade any duplicates of that card without having to do the minigame. I could be wrong about that since it's been a while since I played, but I'm fairly certain that's the case.

It's not the same kind of card game as something like Hearthstone. The playing field is a 3x6 grid, and you play your cards on your half, so a 3x3 grid. Your cards then move toward the opponent's side, with the goal of reaching their castle at the other end. The opponent cards move toward your base in the same way. You can play healers and damage boosters to beat the cards coming your way and move past them toward the other castle.

Edit: Oops, it's a 3x7 grid with a column of 3 neutral squares in the middle.

Anyone have any cheap headset recommendations to replace the earbud? I'm talking about the $20-$30 max range. I'm even thinking about just getting a 3.5mm adapter for my 360 headset if I can't find anything else I like.

I don't think I'll ever be able to play it otherwise (too many games to buy). Sorry but I'm gonna play it when it ends up on Plus

I know I won't deserve it, I'll play it full of shame

You're unlikely to ever play it then. Looks like it's not your kind of game, nothing wrong with that.

I sometimes pay $10 for lunch (stupid hospital cafeteria) and that literally turns into poop a day after I buy it, so any time a game is on sale for $10 or less I usually don't feel too bad buying it for later even with my giant backlog. But I do understand, and I don't usually buy full price games unless I will play them right then and there because of my hundred game backlog. But let me tell you, the recent PSN sales have certainly been emptying my wallet and adding to the pile of unplayed games.

So, anyone have any predictions on what the PS+ games for June will be?

I have the feeling we'll see Tales of Xillia this or next month. The sequel is launching in two months, so it'd be a wise decision. Launch it now, give people enough time to finish it so they can buy it.

We may see PS All Stars Battle Royal too (cross-buy). There was an update not so long ago and the game looks like a decent PS+ candidate.

I can't think of much other stuff. I could say Little Big Plannet VITA, but I've been wrong with that game before.

I'm quite curious if they'll change yearly PS+ games for Vita during E3. They didn't past November so I'm not that sure. I won't change them if I were Sony, to be honest. There isn't anything as popular (brand wise) as Uncharted: Golden Abyss. Current users won't jump ship since they're still getting 2 (or 3) Vita games a month and new owners will still get 2 awesome Vita exclusives.

TL;DR: I don't think we'll get a yearly refresh. For June? We could get anything except Persona 4 Golden.

A little off-topic, but the Persona 3 film is awesome.

Well I play almost every kind of game (rpg,adventure,casual,action,shooter,point-n-click,driving,football,visual novel, card game, strategy, simulation and management games) and I own most platforms, but it's difficult to buy everything as I'm still a student so I rely on Plus a lot.

I've had my eyes on Tearaway for quite some time now, it just isn't on top of my list because recently every time I finish a game another one I'm eager to play comes out (and I don't like huge backlogs, so I don't usually buy a game if I'm not gonna play it right away)

VitaGAF I'm looking for some guidance on EDF 2017 Portable.

I've finished hardest on Storm1 but I was hoping to farm for the Lysander Z sniper rifle for my Inferno playthrough. Some searches I did found some topics on GameFAQs saying on EDF Portable level 52 is the one I should be farming for the Lysander Z, as opposed to any guides for the 360 version.

So over the weekend I probably spent around 6 hours farming for the Lysander on level 52 Inferno but ended up with nothing. Has anybody on here found the weapon? If so what level did you get it on? Is there a better level I could be running?

Thanks!

Second Edit: Hmm, you already have the X-2 code. I thought there was a way to buy X separately but it appears there isn't, so unless you still have access to a PS2 I guess there is no way you could actually play X without rebuying X-2. So I guess my post was pretty useless, as you can't really play the games in order without wasting money.

Thanks for the response. And no worries, I'll be able to pick up X in a cart used or something like that at a pretty inexpensive price soon I'm sure (For Vita, in case that wasn't clear)
