Homing attack is fine in SA 1 and 2, which are better games than Sonic 3.

They should remake Sonic to fit his more modern persona.

Up special: Turns into werewolf
Down special: Plays "Escape from the City"

Homing attack needs a huge buff. It should have much stronger knockback considering it's terrible startup, or take more notes from Project M. It's modern Sonic's most potent and iconic attack move, no need to remove it. Just make it less terrible and work like it does in his actual games.

Incidentally someone on SmashBoards pointed out that Sonic's Spin Dash has the Spin Charge flash now. Could be a new visual effect to make the moves look less different and be more open for mindgames, or the less likely scenario, it's been combined somehow.

In all honesty his side special should be the Boost that started in the Rush games. I don't know why it wasn't already implemented in Brawl.
 
So does the confirmation of NFC equal the de-confirmation of Bayonetta? I seriously doubt Nintendo wants a jiggly-assed buxom vixen on the shelves next to Kirby and Mario. As much as I want her in this game and feel she belongs, I don't think it will happen now... :/

I don't know why people ever thought there was a chance for her to be in.

Her most damaging move sets relies on her stripping and she's not even a Nintendo character. I always maintained TW101 was the only feasible Platinum rep for this very reason.

Rewatching the Direct and I remembered:

Wasn't it weird how members of certain Pokemon trios just disappeared in Brawl? Like, Raikou was gone but we still had Entei and Suicune? And Moltres was the only legendary bird that survived.

I'm kinda hoping that's rectified this time. It just bothers the really neurotic part of me. Asymmetry does that to me. I've seen Palkia, but no Dialga, and it's making my OCD flare up.

Bayo has no history with Nintendo and almost no history at all, and Sega's most iconic mascot is already in, so I'd honestly say she had no chance to begin with. But I don't think NFC is the reason.
