PC is also hooked up [through HDMI] to the TV in living room where my WiiU is.
Only PC + WiiU this GEN.

I always love looking at people's gaming setups. You can clearly make a distinction between a hardcore gamer and a casual gamer based on the setup alone.

My current setup, although I've seriously been considering getting a custom unit built. I've got probably 20 more consoles not pictured, just sitting in a closet because I have no where else for them. Can't even imagine what a beast it would be, but oh well.

Holy shit. Did you buy two of that same table and just stacked them?

How is the wire management with that beast?

Where the gamedev happens. Man it looks so much nicer during the day.

27" dell and another 21 dell ultrasharp and the best mouse on the planet, a dell corporate spec. I've tried $100 dollar mice and I always go back to it.

Why do you have 2 PS3s hooked up?

Cool to see a developer post their workspace, what are your pc specs?

A million thumbs up.

Can we get a rundown of some of the furniture? Where do you hide your surround?

The couch is from Urban Outfitters. The rest is vintage, from LA Danish Modern. My surround sound is hidden behind curtains in the front, lamps in the back. You can see the middle speaker under the TV, which also holds my Wii U sensor and PS4 Camera.

Thanks!

Specs as follows :

i7 2600k
32gb Corsair ddr3
Intel SSD as my main drive and a couple wd blacks for storage
Asus 6870 which I'm looking to upgrade, although it's a terrific card
Define R3 case
Sabertooth p67 board
win8.1 pro

I do a lot of design work along with motion graphics and rendering hence the huge amount of ram, and this machine hums along without any hitch in performance. I've honestly never had a computer be this stable. Case is beautiful too, very classy and with amazing build quality.

Old pic of my set up (before i got my ps4 and after i sold my 360):
42" Bravia LED
PS3 slim
Action figures because i like them.

Will take a new updated picture soon once i pimp out my ps4.

Please tell me the setup was for your pic, and not how it is daily. I would find it so distracting to have all those figurines around, not to mention obstructing the tv itself.

I keep figurines on a separate shelf; i put them in front of a tv just to take a picture.

What's the point of having multiples of the same consoles hooked up (PS1) and consoles that are backwards compatible (GC and Wii)?

Honest question: How often do you use those systems? You can't be playing them all on a regular basis right?

Bad phone pics. Just moved and got my own gaming room. Its only 10ft by 10ft but thats all she will allow me, haha.

Got a friend that does custom woodwork (and although not a gamer has had some of the coolest pc setups I've seen).

Could pm u his Instagram if you like.

I am also attempting to build a new desk in June/July. Will have some before/after pics and progress shots.

Lots of great ideas here. Thank you guys.

I have a question: anyone here uses a gaming projector? I am doing a project in the next few months and I am not sure if I should incorporate both TV for gaming and projector for movies/TV or just use the projector for everything.

I am concerned about the lag with gaming.

That's my setup 2 posts above, I use a tv and a dlp projector for gaming and movies. There is less lag on the projector than my led tv believe it or not. The picture is spot on.

Well, I decided to sell my gaming PC and monitors and return to console gaming. It's been 15 years (Dreamcast was my last console) but my 6 year old has been begging me for Mario Kart 8. Here's my new setup, work in progress, of course.

I was going to make a new thread, but then I found this one and thought I'd check it out.

Where did you get that unit? My wife and I just bought a house and I finally get to have a game room. I've been looking for a unit to accommodate all my consoles and I think this one would be perfect, but I haven't been able to find one yet that looks like it.

Desk 2.0

I have for a long time not been satisfied with my PC desk setup.
It have always come down to lack of either funds or motivation.

This time however, I had enough of both, so the desk area received a well deserved overhaul.

First off, awesome renovation to the place. This new desk, though, seems like a step back. You just lost two drawers worth of storage space without an increase to surface area.

Not a big wow fan but the collector in me is jealous as fuck of the OG collectors editor of Vanilla WoW

Is that a premade desk you bought from a store or did you make it yourself?

I love these kind of threads and some of these setups are jar dropping but I must ask, is there a lot of millionaires or rich kids that post on Gaf? lol

My setup updated for 2014, got rid of my triple monitor surround setup and replaced it with a 65" 4k TV. This allowed me to unify all my gaming platforms into one display that can take full advantage of my PC and consoles.

I don't think I've seen many setups here that would require one to be a millionaire or incredibly wealthy.
