Super Smash Bros. for 3DS & Wii U Thread 8: Put mii in, coach

I need more details. Who in their right mind would reject the goddamned King of Smash?
Typical of a Ridley detractor. They're just despicable people.
Mew2king? He's like the very definition of a liability. He's good at smash, but he's a creepy weirdo from what I can tell.

She's a notable Project M player, and Nintendo doesn't acknowledge Project M.

And during the stream she had she sort of implied that she's not allowed to play PM right now, she could barely even mention it. I don't want to put words in her mouth, but I'd guess it's a stipulation for representing Nintendo, the next game and the competitive scene right now, but begs the question of why they'd even pick her.

You seem so negative towards him and I have no idea why.

I think it's a smart move. You represent every facet of the scene, give some diversity to the bracket, and try to get everyone to give the new game a shot.

I never expected Nintendo to do an all-out all-competitive tournament with items off and everything anyway. This is a great way to show Smash Bros. off while showing love for the competitive community and acknowledge the fanbase, and still promote the game rightfully so.

more like no consistency on the part of the people who made this

watching her stream i think shes pretty great to be honest :D

Yeah, it's just weird that it's missing. Not saying she's not worthy at all.

Apparently she's a Project M player, but Nintendo won't officially acknowledge that

Is that all she's played? No melee/brawl tourneys?

I feel bad for aMSa that there is no yoshi selectable, and I feel bad for hungrybox that there is no jiggly. Hopefully they do ok.

I'd also feel bad if people who main certain characters don't get to pick them (unless 2 of them main them).

IF Sony, Microsoft and Nintendo did fantastic job, then gamers would unite together and said this e3 would be best ever. Only If it happens.

Yeah, last year's E3 was pretty great from everyone except microsoft. This year it sounds like all of them actually get it. People want games, they want to see games, and that's it. I think companies following social media has let them know that games and gameplay are all people care about. If you have games to show, show them, if you don't, you look pretty weak.

We're getting a smash bros tournament, possible smash reveals, a new zelda, more details on hyrule warriors, and more, so i'm already happy with nintendo. Microsoft sounds like they have games to show, and I hope they can back that up, so i'm excited. Sony thinks their press conference is good enough for MOVIE THEATERS, so that has me excited. I wish all 3 well! The more competition, the better, and the more each company has to step up their game to stay relevant and successful.

This will be a very exciting E3, and I hope it goes down as one of the best!

No love for the Peach mains.

It's a casual tournament that's basically advertising. I don't think anyone's really gonna care about not playing as their main, the fact they're there at E3 playing it would more than make up for it lol.

Hes never actually disclosed any information about having disorders so its was just guesswork or speculation from them
He kinda has:
Mew2King said:
I am well aware (from both my parents, friends, and even psychologists I've talked to) of my "problems" that I used to have or still might have some of. I have mild Aspergers, OCD (obsessive compulsive disorder), ADHD (I was hyperactive most of my life and sometimes still am, and attention deficit disorder or at least I used to a long time ago; not sure if I still do or not), and possibly more I don't know, but I think it mostly comes down to the fact that I was raised differently and just have passion/interest for some things, and no passion/interest in other things. But that's just my theory/opinion on this.
Source.

Oh right, no peach either! Sad panda!

I just feel bad that they get to play the game early, but they don't get to try out their mains! Lots of others get to, but not them :(

agreed. it's like they're listening to us :0 I'm still kinda shocked. And most importantly it's a win win situation where both sides benefit.

They'll probably get time on the show floor as guests of Nintendo and free copies when the game comes out.

Don't feel too bad for them.

I think you're confusing the Xbox One reveal with Microsoft's E3. They brought a good amount of games and they had one of their best press conferences in years, but people only thought Sony's conference was better because of how they shat all over Microsoft lol.

Nintendo did Nintendo.

Quick Youtube search shows she got first in Melee doubles with Rolex at Crossfire. Not sure how big Crossfire is, but she did play Melee competitively in some capacity.
