The flight plan I just filed with the agency list me, my men, Dr. Pavel here. But only one of you!
For reals. I was always a barbacoa man, and sometimes chicken. But since the prices went up recently, with barbacoa going up more than the rest, I decided to give the pork a try for lunch today. God damn, that shit was delicious. I feel like I have been making the wrong choice all this time.

Please forgive me, carnitas.

Yep.

Pork>>>All

Barbacoa is second best.

Both are braised, or cooked low and slowly in a simmering flavorful liquid, so they develop more flavors than the grilled chicken or steak.

Because it's not.

The answer is Barbacoa. Keep eating that Carnitas for a while; you will get sick of it and make the permanent switch.

I've only ever gotten carnitas/barbacoa. Pretty sure the steak and chicken options is for the people afraid to pronounce carnitas/barbacoa :p

The best option at Chipotle is "double". It doesn't matter what meat, as long as its doubled.

I dunno man, a regs burrito leaves me feeling fat and happy.

I love going to Chicago and getting fresh carnitas from the Mexican grocery stores. And fresh El Melagro corn tortillas that are warm in the package still cause they were made early that morning.

I was the same way, man. Would always go barbacoa but once I tried carnitas, that was it. Now I'm all about the carnitas. Except if I'm feeling not quite so hungry, then I'll go chicken salad.

On a related note, does any one get the tacos ever? I feel like they are a waste of money since you can't fit many toppings on there. They should make them a little bit cheaper than the bowls or burritos.

You guys just don't know. It's all about half and half. Doesn't matter the meats, you can ask for half this, half that, and they know they can do it but have no idea how to properly measure it, so you generally get close to the same portion of each. So that is the right way.

No way

Chicken is the best by far, I could eat a chicken burrito from chipotle every day and be happy

Here is some better advice . . . go get some real Mexican food instead of an Americanized chain.

I like chipotle better than "traditional" mexican food, and I've lived in southern california

I get the soft tacos sometimes if I'm not particularly as hungry. I've found myself preferring them to burritos which are bogged down with rice.

And usually I'll order chicken but I've also found myself enjoying the carnitas and steak.

Heres a secret at chipotle. If you ask for double meat beforehand, they dont give you double. Wait till they put the regular amount, then ask for double and they feel obligated to put just as much as they originally did. Protien stacking.

And yes, carnita wins. But i get chicken a lot because its healthier.

As someone who lives in the most heavily Mexican part of Houston and can have a relative cook up authentic Mexican food at nearly a moments notice, Chipotle is really good. Know the secret to "Authentic Mexican Food"? Lard. Lots of lard. Then again, that's most food. Chipotle doesn't make me bloated as F'.

While you're in Chicago you may as well get some fresh Chipotle carnitas, since that's where it all comes from.

It's pretty decent. Love the grilled flavor.

Most grilled fast food chicken is bland, but they do a good job.

Yeah, I enjoy the bit of grill/char flavor on Chipotle chicken. Other than that though, it doesn't have nearly as much flavor as carnitas or barbacoa.

I like barbacoa, but it's so rich I think it overpowers the rest of the burrito when they put on the normal amount. When I ask for just a little bit they put on like 90% of what they usually use. So I usually get vegetarian.

Lots of people like Americanized Chinese food over the actual stuff. Why do you care?

Also actual Chinese food can be very utilitarian, you dont get the very elaborate meals very often in the states. (at least my family doesnt)

Tho nothing beats a good morning out for some Dim Sum.

What the hell is wrong with you?

I'm not sure, to me traditional mexican doesn't have very flavorful rice and is mostly beans and rice, so it's kind of bland. The meats don't usually have much flavor either.

It's still good, but in a filling way, not in a taste way, chili verde burritos are good though

You may be a monster.
