Fighting Games Weekly | May 26-June 1 | Thank you, Keits

Damn all these "Waiting for players" prompts in matches on green 3 bar matches, man this conversion is booty so far. I honestly don't know what I expected though after Bioshock 2 conversion to steamworks, that game's multiplayer also became trash. Gonna wait for patches
 
I've played 8 matches online so far and they have all been perfect except one where there was a bit of stutter at one point then smoothed out.

A decade passed and my torment receded, bringing me back from the precipice of madness. The descent had destroyed me but yet, I live.

Could it be a port issue? The experiences just differ too much to just be netcode.

Does Steam have a NAT test like Xbox/GFWL has?

If it was a port issue you wouldn't even be able to connect to a match ... ports wouldn't cause lag. But no, I'm not aware of any Steam port test. There's this though:

Triforce's life isn't an anime or a comedy, it should be portrayed as a tragedy. I really do think he was earnest in his goals but somewhere along the way his message and dream don't fit in the world we live today. He should have pursued more business acumen or leveraged Empire as a content provider, not as a house of players. If your personalities are known for throwing sticks, not having a bank account, getting stuck in France, not getting paid for VXG, a txt file folder, a glove, no money, unhappy players, promises but no actions its time for a new leadership, rebranding or change.

So, update on #PutQinEvo drive. We are pretty much all set for Q to be at Evo.

Flight and Evo Registration have been done and paid for. That costed roughly 790~ dollars. The last $145 dollars have been sent to Professor Beef to get the wheelchair at the hotel as they apparently have motorized ones that you can rent.

The remaining payments that I need to collect will be to cover the money I fronted for the airline tickets.

So at this point, if folks feel like donating any money, it would to feed Q and his friend and possibly for "Thique Booty Lapdances" in CountBlackule's words. =P Not sure how we should handle this since it's basically amenities. Do you have a paypal that you can pull money from Q? lol Maybe folks that want to donate can send directly to you.

Paypal says it takes 3-5 business day to transfer from my bank acc. So yea.. my $20 sometime next week.

Honestly, when I heard Triforce chose Nintendo over his wife I knew he was a guy with messed up priorities. I didn't know it went so far though.
 
Just went through Capcom's dudley changes... it was almost as if they were saying

"the character was broken (not in the OP way) so we fixed it".

They were very aware that he needed an overhaul. Abel appears to have gotten similarly useful changes (and may be secret high tier along with Honda.)
 
Just played a few patched SF4 matches on Steam.

It now pops up under lag, stops the game and says "waiting for other player", perhaps for a second until things settle down again.

I'm not sure how to feel about this.
 
oh also - if someone can help me, how do I get ultra with all the pre-order bonuses (if possible). I will play on my 360

I get why people say the shark and alligator look fine, it's because they have shark and alligator heads and not ... weird "caught in between an animorphs book cover" face.
