In Brawl, if you get killed too often, you get a Pity Final Smash.
I don't think 4 stocks is enough to trigger that though (if it even exists anymore).

I want them to exploit anything as they can so they can take a note for balance before the games went gold. I know it's pretty low chance of it happening but I'm going to wish for it.

So still possible in a free for all (f it even exists anymore).
It is also impossible to win consistently at games with high variance.
The power meter grows as you get hit and when you land hits.or that in such a chaotic FFA it's gonna be difficult to build up that meter considering you lose some every time you get hit
Are people already sick of Marth and Fox in Smash4? lol
but from their example, it seems like this would require someone to spawn on their last stock while first place has an absurd number of kills

Oh, didn't notice they had commentator profiles up.

But kills don't matter in a stock match. Not if you plan on winning anyway.
Maybe I'm understanding wrong but player 1 could theoretically kill players 3 and 4 5 times and then kill player 2 who's killed no one and player 2 would come back with a pity final smash?
...right? This is already sounding super theoretical but it could happen! The salt could be real!
Smash wiki said:Pity Final Smashes also do not appear in tournaments. One might argue that allowing Pity Final Smashes would allow a badly beaten player to stage a comeback, as they do not appear at random like Smash Balls do. However, this can only happen in a match of at least 6 stocks
I can confirm that in Brawl, Pity Smashes can be given out in a 3-stock match if one player is destroying the other.idk if this is correct, but if it is, that implies an effective difference of 10 points rather than 5, in which case someone spawning on their last stock, assuming they haven't gotten any kills up to this point (-3), would need to have someone with 7 kills and no deaths (+7), or any other combination with a score of +7
so while theoretically possible, the person in first could literally throw away all of his/her stocks and advance anyway, I guess the other two could get salty though

So I'm pretty sure it's 5 points, not 10.
Nothing really major, but Sean Schemmel tweeted to GameXplain that he's actually voicing Lucario in the game this time around (people thought he did so in Brawl when it was someone else)

Whoa! Unexpected but awesome news. I watched the one Lucario movie when he was announced for Brawl and really enjoyed it. It's a shame that he seems to no longer have the Kamehameha as a Final Smash.Nothing really major, but Sean Schemmel tweeted to GameXplain that he's actually voicing Lucario in the game this time around (people thought he did so in Brawl when it was someone else)

Could've been 4-stock. It was either 3-stock or 4-stock. We never did 6-stock matches for sure, though.A 1v1 3 stock match though?
Because that's +2/-2, a difference of 4
unofficial SKTAR 3 discussion thread incoming
What does that even stand for?
and I wonder if WeekendSmashGAF will be normal now thanks to MK8....

Everyone is busy playing MK8.
I got to 150cc's middle cups and quit out of frustration for the day.
I like how this person didn't understand that characters are arranged by series.

Mewtwo Y, who is that above Ness? And who is that to the left of Lucario?
I heard it was easier to 3-star cups than in Mario Kart 7, what gives?

It might be, if things go your way. Sometimes they don't. Sometimes every single racer has it out for you. They have shocking accuracy with green shells, Roy Koopa is doing literally nothing but just bashing you off the road, and the only items you're getting are green shells and banana peels.
Setup is probably going to happen the weekend before. With Nintendo, maybe the day before. They do have a big booth this time, so it might take a while.Lol yeah. I like how people think that E3 demo stations would set up like 10 days before E3. They usually set up like 4-5 days before E3 from what I remembered.
