US/CAN Club Nintendo Thread: New and improved. Read the OP.

Check your account history. It should have the download code somewhere in there under Order History or something..

Checked it. No sign of a code for Wind Waker. Rest of my dowload history was correct though.

I'll give it couple of days for the MK8 free game redemption rush to die down (which is what i should have done in the first place), then try again.

True Nintendoges will have no problem buying enough Nintendo goodness to hit Plat next year. So like real Nintendoge I just registered mine. I don't need to horde it.

Should have waited a couple days to register MK8. That way the points would have went towards next years point count. I'm already set platinum for this year.

Most likely not since no money is being spent. You should still get club nintendo surveys for it, but DDP is only for money spent on the WiiU eshop.

I redeemed a Nintendoland code (came with ZombiU bundle) and it applied to DDP so yes, codes do count.

You're part of the problem :p

Gimme my free Pikmin 3 download bitches!

So, I registered MK8 and it's not showing up but is saying the PIN has now been used (when I first tried to enter it, it just asked me to login but seemed to think it was an un-used PIN). Any chance all the website crashing screwed up my PIN entry? Or is it just lagged and hasn't updated in my account yet?

I'm short like 5-10 coins when all is said and done, and I don't want to use my 3DS retail codes to fill the gap. Do apps like Youtube and Hulu give 5 coins, or do I just need to buy a $5 game?

Digital promotion points take about 24 hours to process through from the time you make the purchase. It's always been that way for me at least.

So my good wife went to some yard sales yesterday and thought I'd be interested in this:

25 cents. No box, but... 25 cents. Just need to dust it off still.

Wow, 25 cents!? Thank god for the people that don't look up the value of stuff before giving it a price.

Just realized I only need 45 more coins to hit Platinum this year. Any good/cheap way of getting coins right now or should I just grab some full-3DS game off the e-Shop and call it good? Already grabbed Mario Kart 8.

I'm in the same boat, I am 5 coins short. Already did Rustys and Sub Wars for their coins. Got Pokemon Bank, too. Apparently once inside the Pokemon Bank program you can download Pokemon Transporter for another 5 coins, but I dont have Pokemon X or Y so since it doesnt see any save data it wont let me get into the program to do that.

I looked and it seems the cheapest eshop games for 5 coins would be Gunman Clive or Edge for $2 each. Then they also come with 10 coin post play surveys.

I just bought Crashmo and Gunman Clive. Been waiting on a Crashmo deal anyway.

A silly doubt, I have a survey that expires July 1, I'm already Platinum, so I want to reserve for next year. The survey disapears on July 1, or it's the last day to complete it?

I'd like to know this as well, since I got a 30 coin registration survey for Yumi's Odd Odyssey that expires on July 1st as well. I WANT to say that's the last day considering Nintendo doesn't change the games on the reward page until the day after it says when they're available (i.e 6/8 is the "last day" but they don't change them until 6/9), but wanna be on the safe side & make sure.

You just burned through how many years of luck now?
lol seriously, your wife made a very very nice catch

I haven't registered my Wii U yet because I want to wait for the new Club Nintendo year, but I see the survey. It doesn't show an expiration date—is there a time frame before I lose it?

Relatedly, I haven't bought anything on the eShop yet, but I want to sign up for the DDP. If I redeem points for Super Metroid, will that count as an eShop purchase that starts that 24-hour window to sign up for the DDP? Would I also receive credit towards the DDP? And I'll just get a download code, right? Finally, DDP doesn't mess with Club Nintendo at all, does it?

Mostly, I'm just worried about messing things up during the month-long wait and am trying to seek answers to alleviate my concerns.

You can check the year on it by going into account and coins and then selecting to-do history. Mine expires in 2039.
