Charming. Glad to see you are so accurately adhering to the spirit of your chosen candidate.
Come on man... really?

I'm kind of cold to the Sebelius pick now. She's too inexperienced and unknown for him. Plus, like it or not, there will still be a prevailing wind of sexism in the campaign. He needs to pick someone with some experience and charisma.

Joe Biden. Won't happen though
As much as I like Biden for certain reasons (plain spoken, blunt) he would be a TERRIBLE choice for veep or SecState BECAUSE of those reasons. Obama needs someone in the veep spot that isn't going to upstage him and won't say something stupid to cause controversy. A SecState needs to speak in high falutin' terms, and none of those things are Joe Biden.

Biden says he is going to be one of Obama's adviser's on foreign policy in the gen election campaign so you never know

How about Chris Dodd then? He's basically Joe Biden with zero personality.

Some superdelegate news:

Boxer/Schumer press conference at 10:30am (I wonder what this is about)
South Dakota senator/governor to endorse Obama later today
5 Montana supers (including governor, senators) to endorse the winner of their primary

Where the heck has Joe Scarborough been lately?

He's been visibly frustrated on-air having to debate Rachael Maddow. I think there's a huge behind the scenes power struggle at MSNBC.

How about Chuck Todd? That would be my dream ticket.

I saw Daschle on MSNBC this morning and I think he actually would make a pretty dope Secretary Of State or Chief of Staff.

And David Axelrod is going to be the best Josh Lyman EVER.

I was reading TaylorMarsh.com comments last night and all the crazy clintonistas last night were getting giddy because FoxNews promised after the break they have a huge bombshell about Obama to annouce and all of the taylormarsh people were thinking it'd be the michelle video and were going crazy telling everyone to to turn on fox.

The bombshell? That Obama would get enough supers tonight to reach 2118. Owned. :lol

Zero personality?! Maybe you missed his stand against the amendment to FISA that would grant telcos retroactive immunity for illegally wiretapping US citizens.

I probably did. But he still talks like a stuffed shirt and has little charisma. But that's not necessarily a bad thing if you're running with Obama.

Oh, I fully admit that it's a possibility. I just think that Biden would be a poor choice for a cabinet post/veep.

I actually fully expect Dodd to be in the administration somewhere, as he's said that he has no plans to run for the Senate again and his seat is up in 2010. Also he was the FIRST of the former candidates to endorse Obama, that is gonna count for something. He's Chairman of the Banking, Housing and Urban Affairs committee. Considering his friendship with the Kennedy family, his leaving could give RFK Jr. a plum opportunity for a Senate seat.

What about McCaskill? She'd no doubt help him win Missouri and she's the mother fuckin shit.
I think that picking any Senator with less experience than himself (with the possible exception of Webb) would be a bad idea. :P

I guess she hasn't been in the senate that long, but she's been in this game since the early 80s and she's well respected in our state.

She's made some terrible votes lately, though, including for telecom immunity.

Fox is slick. They are making sure they build up the hopes of Clinton supporters and then crush them in order to keep them angry.

My nightmare scenario is that Hilary potentially wins both South Dakota and Montana or at least one of them. MSNBC is making me nervous with all their talk about them being a lot closer than people think and with all the recent hype around the accusations that Hilary is being robbed, I have a real fear that it will catch on.

People may feel sorry enough for her that they end up voting for her. I also wouldn't underestimate the impact of Bill Clintons ranting and ravings or the suggestion that this will likely be the very last time he's involved in a campaign of this kind. Are we dealing with a potential send her out with a bang type situation in these 2 remaining states?

Bob Beckel says Bombshell is heading Michele Obama’s way. (Vanity)

If any of you had the opportunity to watch Fox & FRiends this morning, you probably saw Bob Beckel being interviewed about todays political events.

Towards the end of the interview he announced to the Fox & FRiends hosts that he has been told by numerous people,(enough and in a way that convinced him) that a bombshell will be dropping tomorrow about Michele Obama.

The Friends turned white and asked what it might be…was it worse than a college thesis? Bob said—Oh yes, in a BIG way. He said that the Repubs were behind it and it was dumb because it meant that Mrs. Clinton would be the nominee.

So the die is cast, IMHO Hillary will suspend her campaign within the next 24 hours and then the bomb will drop, leaving the Republics to take the blame.

Beckel said that this will make Hillary the candidate. Whatever is on that tape (if it is a tape)it must be a beaut.

HILLARY CAMPAIGN EXPECTS 25-POINT WIN IN S DAKOTA, TOP SOURCES TELL DRUDGE... DEVELOPING...

maybe drudge just playing expectations game once again and the "sources" were quoting ARG

Dodd's passion always comes off as anger rather than charisma, IMO.

Would the best run campaign in recent memory overlook something so potentially devastating, even after Jeremiah Wright? Sure, why not, I'm a fucking optimist.

I smell BS. Won't be much of anything.

From everything I've read from HILLARY herself, she has no plans of hanging it up after tonight. Could be political posturing, I guess we'll see in her speech tonight.

I'm just saying, those wags haven't necessarily been totally owned...yet.

She will tow the line until the very end. For every minute she stays in, there is some poor sap that is donating some more money to her. Gotta pay off that 40 million dollars.

Why are there two dates in this that are a month apart?

Wesley Clark wants Obama to pick Selebius apparently:
Clark introduced Sebelius and, according to a regular correspondent and reliable source who was there, said:

"The London odds-makers say that Kathleen Sebelius is the odds-on favorite to be the next vice
president. I can tell you, she'd make a great vice presidential choice."

He then introduced her as "The next vice president of the United States...."
