Now that I actully have a Wii U i am fucking DOWN for a Kid Icarus remake or some shit because fuck man KID ICARUS IS BALLING

Kid Icarus Uprising could be one of the best games I've ever played. I'd be so happy for a sequel or even HD Remake for Wii U. It would work so perfect as well.

Yep.

Since EDT to +8GMT is 12 hours, looks like I have to stay up at Wednesday 12am for smush

Wow... 6 days. And two of those days are in the weekend, and 1 of them has the E3 conferences for everyone else. So practically 3 days. :O

I think E3 would be the perfect time to announce Mii.

I want Mii really badly, just feels like a Nintendo character that is such an obvious choice for a character, and yet it seems like it may not happen.

And also I find it funny my Mii spends his days golfing and racing with Mario and his friends and then will get in an arena and beat Mario and his friends to death.

I forgot that the TeamReal/Fake business could finally be over in a few days.
I'm not betting on it, she seems like a perfect fit for a hidden character.

Also, I'm okay with them getting rid of the golf club and frying pan. The tennis racquet was pretty good.

I'm a noob on following daily pics / releases but did the last Smash had characters that weren't announced in the game?

So to say Wolf wasn't announced and everybody was amazed he was there?

ROB, Wolf, Toon Link and Lucario were not known before the Japanese release of Brawl (except via a leak that most didn't believe, but was true). Also any unlockable vet, like Jigglypuff or Ness were not announced before release.

Kinda. It was spoiled for us long in advance because the Japanese version came out a month early, but Wolf wasn't put onto the website until a few weeks after launch.

Oh right, forgot about that. Lucario was accidentally revealed, along with Jigglypuff, in that one trailer showing off stickers as well.

They will announce Smash TV (or something of the sort) so I wouldn't ask that.

Can't let you do that, SoraFox.

With all this discussion on bosses and their role in the game and the whole focus on them as something new to Smash stages, what if on Wii U there's a way to include a fifth player and you can control the bosses using the game pad? It would be a way to get more people involved instead of simply spectating and it means characters like Kamek and Ridley can still technically be playable in some form, as a way of appeasement.

Not sure how it'd work on 3DS but I'd imagine their controls would be incredibly simple. Just control stick movement and a couple of attack pattern variations. I'd love that. It means we have fanservice for characters unable to be worked into fully playable characters are playable in some form. I still think the way Ridley shadow moved in the Direct was peculiar and very rigid or "controlled" so if something like this is being included maybe this is why it's being teased so much.

Yep.

Is this for press only or is it streamed like April 8th direct?

Pic of the day. Here's a new item that we've thrown in--the boomerang. As you'd guess, it'll fly back into your hands after you throw it, and if you keep catching it, its attack power grows with each throw! However, opponents can nab the boomerang out of the air, so it might be an easier item to use in Smash Run.
From MK8?

These should be on the eshop for download. Heck I'd throw money so that I could keep them permanently on my 3DS.
