Guerrilla: GG's new IP won't be at E3 - not ready to show yet

I gotta say based on launch lineup and games coming up till Xmas 2014, the Xbox one is the better choice for me, especially with that $399 bundle coming.

Ryse, titanfall, sunset overdrive, Forza, killer instinct season 1 and 2, halo collection all in the first year while my ps4 had infamous and everything else moved to 2015.
Lol if tou're saying forza and sunset overdrive i could say killzone and drive lub.. You're comparison is not fair

Based on the new information this is what I'm predicting for Sony's E3 conference:

- Project Beast reveal, 2015 release
- The Last Guardian re-reveal for PS4, 2015 release
- Uncharted 4 trailer, 2015 release
- DriveClub trailer
- Infamous Second Son DLC trailer
- The Order: 1886 trailer and stage demo
- Assassin's Creed Unity trailer and stage demo
- Destiny trailer and stage demo
- BF Hardline trailer and stage demo
- Indie game showcase

That seems about right, IMO. Perhaps the Infamous DLC will be this fall to help fill the void.

If sony shows TLG, Project Beast and Uncharted, they already won E3, regardless of lack of suprises due to leaks.
I'm sure MS is going to come out swingin' but most of their suprises have been ruined as well. I think its MS that needs to drop a huge megaton to win with what we know so far.

And do people still think that Fallout 4 will be an X1 exclusive!? Isn't Bethesda in marketing bed with Sony this time around?

Edit: granted, if TLG and Project Beast are absent that would be a huge blow to Sonys conference.

I have to disagree.

No Hardline, no Project Beast

Add
TLG 2014
And Sony Bend's game
Vita GTA game or other big 3rd Party
Final Fantasy 15
And MGSV

Hardline might be at MS conference I guess, but no Project Beast?

Project Beast will be at E3. Even if Sony weren't planning to show it, the leaks will force them to.

TLG in 2014 is doubtful.

And Sony Bend's game
Ths is definitely a possiblilty.

Vita GTA game or other big 3rd Party
Vita is dead.

Final Fantasy 15
lol

Maybe, but it could just as easily be at MS's conference.

So who else believes that Sony Bend will show their new game at e3, after all its been close to three years since Golden Abyss.

No. No it doesn't.

Thankfully they finally confirmed as much in the recent GI interview.

We've always known that to be the case. All we had to do was check the credits list for Uncharted 3/TLoU.

The number of people at ND entirely uninvolved with TLoU was only around 50-ish people. Nowhere near large enough to be a separate team.

I know that, please don't tell me that. It's exactly what I am talking about.

They better.... otherwise it will be dull....

Last year, we got FF XV/KH 3 megatons. Nothing like that expected for this year.

Ah, okay, I get what you're saying.

In the first place, I don't think there's many (within same building) developers that actually work with entirely divided resources. Most devs with multiple teams allocate by projects.

Lol Mediamolecule never showed anything at E3 and Guerilla Games released a game 6 months ago. Now Sony is doomed cause we wont see games from those 2 studios.. Uncharted 4 and Project Beast is more than enough to get me excited.

They talk about still needing to do a lot of work, not that they "had to do a lot of work" before E3.

I mean, we could hope they're manipulating words to surprise us at E3, but I doubt it.

Maybe its too soon to show it properly, but it could still show up as a tease. At least drop a name or something.

Do we have an educated guess on what *WILL* be shown on E3? I'm not too excited about better looks at 1886 and U4, so my hype is only riding on Project Beast, and I'm afraid that's not enough.

This doesn't make any sense. How can you expect surprise announcements? If there's some big announcement from either a loved old IP or some exciting new IP you won't "expect" it.

You missed the point.

I was saying for me, who only had the cash for one next gen console in November, I chose PS4 but should have chosen Xbox One based on what games launched, actually came out and weren't delayed and are scheduled for 2014. (Forza was there day one, drive club was delayed).

Doesn't matter now, I got both plus a Wii U.

So shinobi lied about them having a trailer ready?

Not necessarily, as he said - plans change all the time, they may not show it even if they have something ready.
For instance TGS was going to be the original Project Beast reveal last year but it got pushed to E3 I guess.

I agree, I would take even a CG trailer at this time just to get an idea of what type of game it would be (name drop is not enough, that's a cheap addition to "list wars" and pointless)

Should have included the question, he's answering in the OP:

Any chance we get a glimpse into your new IP before E3?

Bundy's post with the breakdown of titles/studios in development has been repeatedly ignored by people posting their exaggerated concern, and it comes across as really asinine. Seriously, folks. Why don't we stop making assumptions and let e3 come our way. Even verified insiders are saying that they're not sure exactly which cards to play. Do you think Sony would go through the effort and expense of renting out those theatres just to put a mediocre show on? Jeez. Some of the posts in this thread are unbelievable.

Having a trailer ready and showing said trailer are not the same.
Cool! I'm gonna do this on twitter, too! :)
Annoucing "Studio X has a trailer ready for game X".
Later, if I'm wrong:
"Having a trailer ready and showing said trailer are not the same, people!" or "Plans change all the time!"

Definitely will be shown:
- Pixelopus's Vita game
- Unannounced PS3/PS4 game ( based off Twitch stream listing )

Most likely will be shown (trademark):
- Kill Strain
- Entwined
- Bloodborne
- Guns Up!

( any of the trademarks above could also be related to Pixelopus or unannounced title #2 )

Educated guess reveals :
- Project Beast
- Sony San Diego Project #2 ( Modnation Team)
- Sony Bend ( 3 years since their last game )
- GoW Remaster and Beyond Two Souls Remaster

Please reveal, please :
- TLG

Well, you see, if GG and MM's new IPs aren't at E3, there's literally no other studios left that can announce new games.

I'm beginning to wonder if Sony intend The Last Guardian to be their Kingdom Hearts 3 style surprise announcement, as if it was never revealed at all a few years ago lol

:) You were noticeably absent when Shinobi correctly called The Order delay+reveal and everyone was calling you out. But hey, they were wrong, you were...well...something, I guess.

So shinobi lied about them having a trailer ready?

Trailers can be made without the game being 'ready-to-show.'

Halo 5, Killzone 2, God of War 3, even Sunset Overdrive are all examples of trailers that were shown without an ounce of game-code from the developers on the event itself.

Well I was just talking about what we know. From the list of expected titles that we have seen so far.

Of course, there could be potentially more surprise announcements. The one GopherD hinted saying it coincides with 20th Anniversary of PS and more.
