I just watched Cody's update video. Oh man, I always thought Cody was good but this new update is ridiculous(in the best way possible). As I've said to other people. Ultra SFIV is now for Cody, DeeJay, Chun-Li and T.Hawk.

Of course. It would be quite trivial to add some sanity checks to loaded save files.

Will they patch it? Unlikely. Best case scenario is they release a marvel patch that fixes this, but changes literally nothing else.

Because that would be pretty funny.

I thought there was no way Capcom was going to patch this until someone figured out how to get the Magneto alt costume with the save file edit.

That's something that Capcom has to respect so we'll see what they plan to do about that. Even if they do that I only expect them to fix that and nothing else even they should honestly just use that opportunity to fix obvious bugs like TAC infinites.


The Fray is 100% Ultra today so I doubt they would be touching the Marvel developments as of late.

Any changes to the games code has to be consulted with both Capcom and Marvel parties. Considering the license for Capcom distributing anything with Marvel characters is lost, the chances of ever seeing anything -new- or updated in the MVCverse is quite literally less than 1%.

I'd love to be proven wrong tho.

Honestly if they just fix TAC infinites and hypers randomly crossing up bug I would be happy.

Fray said they are going to talk about the whole UMVC3 stuff next week with the appropriate panel (to be announced).


E3 coming up next week... no comment from Combofiend at this Fray about the various exploits... but they will talk about it next week after E3...
