I bought a used Wii. The controllers came with those rubbery sheaths/covers, and they had this really strong, flowery perfume smell on them. That stuff made my hands and the whole living room smell like roses, and it took months for it to dissipate.

Honestly, if Ridley isn't playable, Sakurai needs to get that out of the way before E3. That's not the kind of thing you reveal there, it'll ruin the whole event for a lot of people. In fact, assuming he's not in, Sakurai should have shown Ridley in all his stage hazard glory a long time ago.

However, that very reasoning could mean that Ridley is in fact playable, but I'm not getting my hopes up.

Sakurai doesn't mind ruining things though. :/

Cool! Thanks for the write up! Yeah, unfortunately, unless something is OBVIOUSLY broken and exploitable, like an infinite chaingrab or combo or something that's a guaranteed KO 99% of the time, I don't see too many balance patches. I think if they look at for glory stats and see that little mac or something is in first place by a HUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUGE margin, they might look into WHY. But unless something REALLY stands out, i doubt too many balance changes can be made that won't be some knee-jerk reaction which could permanently ruin a character.

They better not balance around what are effectively pub matches, that would suck.
