Fighting Games Weekly | June 2-8 | The Final Kountdown

Oh god, I need help. Someone help me find all of the winners (not just the teams, but the players too) of Curlehs 7-9.

Damn, next Curleh is Volume 10 too. Tenth Curleh, damn.

I remember yipes saying that he was gonna eventually do a Curleh Moustache where all of the previous winners face off against each other. anyone have a complete list of the previous winners? off the top of my head I can think of:

edit: found it... it would be
Marlinpie (guy won the 1st three Curlehs, wtf)
Filipino Champ
Chris G
Dios X

and then the other ones were team Curlehs. and I swear Noel Brown won one, but I guess not

I suppose.

I'm not part of the community so I guess it doesn't matter that much.
I think it's fairly natural -- partially due to human nature and how all of the marketing and hype for this industry works. People hype shit up to the moon pre-release... and then the day it releases it's old news, time to move on to the new hype.

I find your latter statement kind of weird, though. You post here and you play online, that would make you part of the community at-large, even though you may not interact with most subsections. I've always seen what people call the FGC as a loose association of confederacies, myself.

Where's the player list for curleh south?

Edit: nm found it http://ifcyipes.com/

It's unfortunate that there's only one player from Arkansas on the list. We have a player who could beat probably half the players on there and hell even I could probably beat 25% of them and I'm not even third best in the state. Oh well. Not sure if Mike is going, but if he does, he'll probably do well.

EDIT: Lol and he won't be there because he's moving that day. I hope we rep well at Curley South 2.

Well I've been playing BB long after its released. I think I just tend to get frustrated with myself and that puts me off from playing the game for a long time. Of course by the time I come back I forget everything which leads to more frustration. I guess I see a new game as something of a fresh start.

What I meant by that statement is that I don't go to events or a local scene or anything like that. I just play online so it doesn't really matter if I end up dropping a game or not. Perhaps it was a pointless thing to mention.

Man, never let a Sakura player use your online account. When you tell him, "it's Hugo, zone him out," he won't understand what the fuck you're talking about, even when he's playing Poison. :(

I was sooooo close to beating my coworker in Injustice earlier. Had him down to twenty percent, and used Grundy's Super as he was cornered. Then we both noticed D.Wayne had full meter, so he woke up and used it. It killed me, too.

Why can't Grundy jump higher? ;(

Man, I can't even imagine where SF4 would be today without Team PIE. It was right around when Team PIE started coming to NLBC that SF4 started getting exciting again.

That said, KONY and EVO both next week? God damn.
