I think "DK Newcomer" is easily the most likely. We can argue whether it'd be Dixie or K. Rool or Cranky

I'm really hoping Pac-Man is in and they use the older version with black eyes. Just saw IGN's latest E3 Smash Bros. character prediction video and a loooot of folks seem to hate the idea of Pac being in. What's the deal with that?

Yes, I completely understand his point, it looks believable (y'know, aside from the whole joke that he included), but he could've at least tried to make a "believable" leak that was actually eye catching. All he did was put together a bunch of characters that we know are already in the game.

Even if he didn't include the whole "anyone can make a leak" message and just made it look completely believable, who would care? There's absolutely nothing juicy about it. What SSB4 "leak" has not had new characters? The recent CSS "leak" at least "revealed" the supposed final roster number with all of its "?" slots.

This one doesn't quite demonstrate that anyone can make a leak... more like "anyone can make a plain character selection screen with known characters." His point is valid, but the demonstration sucks.

Did Tim Gettys bring him up? I have the sneaking suspicion after listening to him in a lot of videos that he gets almost all of his information from reading Smash Gaf. So his views/insights are often aligned with exactly what the general gaf perception is.

They probably view him as a bland, uninteresting and unimaginative character who will just waste resources that could be used to include Ridley/Palutena/Chrom/Simon Belmont/Cloud/Goku/etc. instead. The fact that the majority of people who are interested in Smash started gaming after Pac-Man's heyday in the early 80s probably doesn't help matters.

His point is that this specific leak is a load of shit. Using other characters, for example, or adding more spaces, or adding alt colors, would not have gotten the point across. It also wouldn't have been as funny.

Not really, I'm still trying to figure out why anyone would give a shit about a character select screen with characters we already know about. There's nothing noteworthy on it. Or maybe that's the other side of the joke. People must be so desperate for leaks that they care about something that reveals nothing.

Lucas is what Ness should have been. Ness just feels like a watered down Lucas.
