You forgot Witcher 3 between PoE and Torment.
Witcher 3 isn't a cRPG in the classical sense, no?

Well I'm winding down Divine Divinity and heading into Dragon Commander. Guess this gives me some time to knock out Dragon Knight Saga after that since I never finished it.
I couldn't stand Divinity 2. I kept going back, hoping to find something to like but it's just 'slog the game'.
I did finally end up beating the base game, but couldn't drum up the will to continue through with the exp pack.
I'm still playing it, and its indeed a very odd game: nice 3D graphics, vistas and architecture designs, varied gameplay (unique elements to both), midly entertaining gags - but somehow the sum of parts ended being not as good.I couldn't stand Divinity 2. It's sort of.. boring.
And I usually love those kind of games.

Divinity: Original Sin postponed until June 30th, but you can still play the Early Access version while you wait
What’s 10 days? Only a week and a half, which isn’t very long at all. But a lot can happen in that space of time, like the finishing touches being added to Divinity: Original Sin. Unfortunately Larian’s Early Access RPG is going to miss its original release date of June 20th, instead launching on June 30th.
Can you handle the wait? If you can’t, the Early Access version will still be playable until the launch date, so all is not lost. Larian says it still needs to add a bit of spit and polish to the game, stamping out bugs and adding voice overs.
"This is going to give us the time we need to get everything integrated," Larian informed backers. "We know we're testing your patience, but you can rest assured that we're as keen as you to release - it's high time we get this game out of our hands and into yours."
10 days strikes me as a small sacrifice if it ensures that the game comes out in tip top shape. What do you lovely lot reckon?

More importantly. What fun class combinations are people planning on rolling?
I'll probably go with a pure caster (with bow as a backup?) and melee tank/healer. That should cover most things. I just love my hybrids.
For casting, fire is probably the most powerful, but I definitely want to go part Witch since that looks like the most fun.
I wish I could get a bit of everything!
So far, my biggest issue has been burning damage after combat ends annihilating anyone. Like, it just chews through health like nobodies buisness when there arent any turns to bother with.
I'm sure he won't.I'm sure Kyrill will win some awards for the soundtrack, it's amazing.
I'm sure he won't.
He would if he was making music for [big blockbuster AAA title X].

Wonder if GoG's new client will be out before the game thanks to this delay. Kind of worried since I play to co-op the game with a friend so easy multiplayer is a concern for me
If this friend ends up being unreliable (which is often the case) I hope the eventual OT will have a way to find people to match up with.

Journey wasn't a big blockbuster AAA title, right?
No, but Sony published the game, so it got a lot of publicity.
I'd say all of those were cRPGs and Witcher is an action RPG, just because you don't make your own character to roleplay as. Sure, you make plenty of hard decisions, but Geralt isn't "yours" as much as the heroes in those other games. They give you a framework to build characters in, and Witcher has you make decisions as Geralt.Ehh... even in the classical CRPG era of the 90s there was a good amount of variety. Some of them first person, others third person, some turn based, others in real time, some solo characters, others managing a party, some were kind of light in mechanics, others were pretty complex like tabletop rpg...
Lands of Lore
Ultima
Fallout
Baldurs Gate
Planescape Torment
MIght & Magic
Dungeon Master
Elder Scrolls
Wizardry
which were the "classical cRPG", and which weren't?
No, but that was the artsy indie flavour of the year game. Divinity is far too complex to get that kind of hype with journalists.Journey wasn't a big blockbuster AAA title, right?

Is this even being released on GOG? It's still not listed on their site.
