Eh, most people expected Mega Man. It certainly didn't surprise me, even though the trailer was sick.
It all comes down to personal taste. If Shulk were to be revealed I'd pee myself.

Filler pic, as expected. Was hoping for a tease though. Oh well.
I have transcended my fleshy human form and become a radiant ball of pure concentrated hype. I am now typing this with ectoplasmic tendrils of light, and when I speak it's like the end of Close Encounters of the Third Kind -- you know, the part where they're signaling back and forth with lights and sounds. It's pretty sweet but I'm not sure how to take a dump in this state.

If anyone gets to play Smash, I just want to know if Samus' bombs (down+B) explode on a timer, or on contact this time around. Most annoying change in Brawl, undoubtedly.

Hopefully GAF doesn't crash too hard. I'm worried what'll happen if Neiteio doesn't have an outlet for all that hype. It can't be healthy to keep it bottled up!

Pic of the day. Remember the video that introduced Greninja joining the battle? Every Pokémon that appeared in that video will make some kind of appearance in Super Smash Bros! By the way, here's one of the Pokémon that didn't make an appearance in that video--Meloetta. Its vocal attacks reflect off land forms, so they'll be especially effective in a closed environment.

Oh man. I'd be so so so so so much happier if it were klonoa. Fits smash WAY better than pac man, also disproves gematsu so hard. That said, a pac-man STAGE would be an amazing NAMCO stage.

I would not be against Klonoa being in this game at all. In fact my hype levels would overload because I REALLY would like him in the game but I've always considered him a near impossibility.

Confirmed fake, as the banner still translates into IKE in japanese. Such an oversight, to something that could have had people going for a few days.
This is often the case with "good fakes". Especially in Pokémon.

My reasoning is that in English the banner says 'Warning! Challenger Approaching', but in Japanese it says (lit.) 'Ike joins the battle.' If you didn't speak Japanese you wouldn't know to change the Japanese banner, if you were faking. Bad Japanese is the first thing I check for in a 'fake', because it's usually the biggest tell.

Yeah, If i were faking I would have made the same assumption, so it's confirmed as fake for sure. I still love the idea of klonoa, though. Especially since he has pac-man on his hat. He's just a better 'fit' for smash bros, design-wise, than ugly arm-leg pac man. He also seemed to be namco's non-pacman mascot for a while there, and I think the last Klonoa game was also on wii (the remake, right?). I dunno. I'd much rather have klonoa than pac.

Pacman still has seniority and super star status over Klonoa, who very few actually know about. In this universe Klonoa will never get in before Pacman
Capcom already has Megaman, why would they get another rep?
