2014 Microsoft E3 Conference

Wow..what was up with the lame gears tease? They could have showed it at the end for a few seconds and then closed the conference.

Solid, but nothing mind blowing, though you could blame leaks for that. Way too much prerendered trailers for my liking too.

Good show but this E3 didn't make me want to buy an Xbone. Not really my kind of games, but solid conference. It was ok. Ok is good?

So what's the end tally?

2014: Forza, Sunset, Halo Collection

2015: Fable Legends, Halo 5, Phantom Dust, Scalebound, Crackdown, D4, Inside, Quantum Break.

Is that correct?

Great conference... Awesome reveal of new games, great show. As someone who doesn't want exclusive stuff I'm happy, not a lot of exclusives, just a good batch of new game reveals.

Some games in there that I'll definitely be picking up but overall it wasn't the greatest conference given they dedicated the whole event to games. Too many CGI trailers, not a lot of stuff we didn't already know about. Was really hoping for some huge surprises from them.

I don't really know what I expected but I really have no reason to rebuy an Xbox One. I want Forza Horizon 2 but if the 360 version turns out good then there's nothing for me on Xbox One.

As someone who isn't a big Microsoft fan I think they put on a very good show. an 8/10 for me. They delivered with classic key franchises, brought back some old ones as exclusives, delivered on the indie front and even managed to show a 3rd party exclusive for the hardcore.

They certainly stuck to their "all games" promise, I'll give em that. Too bad there was so much CGI bullshit. SHOW ME SOME GAMEPLAY

Well they showed a ton of games and that's a great direction for them. No huge megatons for me even if the MC collection and Platinum game were not spoiled. Nothing that would convince to get an Xbox this year. I know that original Halo 2 multiplayer will be big for some people I know.

It's already over? Man, that was a mediocre conference. Very few original titles and nothing exciting apart from Halo. If Sony aren't dumb they can easily win this E3.

That presser didn't do much for me honestly. Crackdown and Kamiya got me hype, everything else though was pretty uninteresting. Next year should be better.

He already said that this section of games were those that were a ways off. These are announcement trailers to generate hype for the future, I'm confused why people are having trouble with that concept.
Didn't say I wanted to see gameplay right now. Calm down, no need to get butthurt.

80% of the time very generic titles, no real megatons.. at least no TV and tech talk.

Would have been a 4/10, but I'll give it 5/10 for some entertainment.

Yeah, the shear amount of multiplats make it a C+ for me. Sunset Overdrive and Crackdown were the highlights. The issue is Crackdown will be late 2015 at the earliest.

I'm kinda disappointed that they mostly just showed CG trailers, but they still showed some cool stuff and all-in-all it was a great conference.

Also congrats to GAF for not going down.

I think it was a relatively good conference, they showed many surprises, I was legit shook at Kamiya on the stage.

They got some balls and made me want an X1 more, but I won't rush in a store buying one right now, need to see more.

Didn't find myself getting super hyped for anything shown. But it was a solid, entertaining conference.

I'll grade it a solid B

- Pre ordering:

1. Halo Collection
2. Crackdown 3
3. Kamiya's game
4. Sunset Overdrive.
5. Forza Horizon 2

3rd party stuff mostly on PS4.

Where is Gears of War 1 2 3 at 60 fps ?

This was meh. I went into this conference wanting to purchase Forza Horizon 2, Halo 5, and Sunset Overdrive. I leave it with the exact same list of games I want. All the Multi-platform games I'm buying on other platforms, and none of the new exclusives excite me. Maybe a few of the Indies.

Seriously I thought they'd be huge 3rd party exclusives. Meh.

The song at the very end goes "give it to me noooooow!".................

............in 2015, lol.

Of course i know that some great games are coming in 2014, but many are not til 2015 so I find the lyrics ironically humorous.

Good on them for sticking strictly to games like they said they would. Nothing really exciting for me in the conference other than that DR3 DLC and Dragon Age 3. Nothing to convince me to buy an Xbox though.
