Why is it bright red though

Yeah i guess that's pretty dumb too, but it does sort of fit the style of the series. The horn though.... come on kojima.... Having the main character run around with this stupid thing sticking out of his face is so lame to me. It's going to be super distracting.

What's so bad about the shrapnel in his head? That he can't remove it because his brain would fall out makes sense, and since he seemingly gets into a helicopter crash at the end of Ground Zeroes, shrapnel makes sense. It also looks like he's shortened it somewhat later on.

And he has a bright red robot arm. Isn't that more distracting?
