Could the villain formerly played by Todd Stashwick have kidnapped Elena to force Nate back into the game?

So, a few years after Drake's Deception, and this time his retirement with Elena stuck. Forced back in, against his will. Personal stakes. I guess that's a confirmation of that Liberterian Pirate paradise.
 
At 30 fps, it would still look head and shoulders above the rest. Not buying the 60 fps promise...not with visuals like these. ND are extremely talented, better than all the others (except Sony Santa Monica, which are of the same caliber), but they are still working on a PS4...
This is most certainly in-engine. The same assets, but with increased graphical effects and other enhancements which, if applied in-game, would bring the console on its knees.

It is in-engine. Naughty Dog said exactly that.
 
I have a PS4 already but never had a PS3 before. This trailer has me wanting to go buy one tomorrow so I can play through the first 3 games! I will wait because of potential price drops in the fall and to see if PS NOW is the better option to play these but wow. Cannot wait to finally see what this series is all about.

this really. I honestly kinda feel betrayed. they shouldn't have mentioned anything or at least show few seconds of actual game play.

watch neogaf to explode when the game play isn't close to what we have seen from the trailer.
 
Didn't you guys read the caption before the trailer started?, in-game graphics. They talked about the character model being the same for the cinematics/gameplay. (after the conference E3 Experience, interview with Druckmann and the other dude)

They could do like Nintendo and use the same characters but reset everything between each game. I wonder how well a "Toon Uncharted" would go over.
 
I seriously thought this was a live action trailer for half a second. When it realized it wasn't, that it was actually in-game . . . I stopped breathing. Naughty Dog knocked me on my ass.

This is what I show up to E3 for. This was fucking impressive. Are you kidding me right? I can't even sleep. I just wanna watch this shit over and over again.

It's fucking incredible. I'm so hyped right now.

So what are the chances of an Uncharted Trilogy for the PS4?
or is Sony going to rely on PS Now so that people that didn't get the chance to play it will use the service to play the Trilogy.

To all of you Corinne Yu is the lead Programmer of this game and a very skilled person (she worked on Hlao before and has Nasa Knowledge orr some kind of High Phd) and she is A PROGRAMMER and the lead one too, not a random 3D artist so she know what she is talking about!

You have to keep in mind that ND has members of the ICE team, who have been there Day 1 working with the ps4 engine improving it. Plus the game is slated for 2015, giving it enough time to look all purdy.
 
ND codes to the metal. I read a very good article about them a while ago on how they are able to achieve their graphic fidelity because they understand the hardware. If you look at a title like TLOU , it appears it's running on a different hardware. people are surprised because they haven't really seen truely what these consoles have been capable of since all this cross gen shits been holding them back.

I fully suspect that ND will look close or almost the same to the trailer they released.
 
Aside from all the graphical talk.

Have people talked about the inscription on the cages at the end? Seems to say:

"for we recieve the due rewards of our deeds"

Searching that up, I'm getting a Bible passage (Luke 23:41). Wonder if that bears any significance, or hints towards the game's narrative.

Oh damn me again, Read my previous post, Naughty Dog did this on the first Unhcarted only, adding extra effects and AA on the cutscnes but they kept the same models ingame, since the second they stopped that and made the game and custscnes use all same efefcts with no upscaling or extra effects in the cutscenes.

Uncharted 3 characters swapped models and got lower poly characters in multiplayers when 3D is enabled

Dunno about TLOU though, they surely used lower poly characters that looked different from custscne to ingame while they could have kept the same models in it with 720p but that because they wanted to do it in the remastered version, just to fool as as if they brought new things and upgrades besides more FPS and higher res and AA.

With Uncharted 4 on PS4 they promised to get parity between custcnes and gameplay because the hardware allows that for them!
 
have a feeling we may get a sneak peak of gameplay at the VGA's, knowing naughty dogs track record they love showing off their games at the VGA's, even if its a peak
