E3 2014 | Nintendo Digital Event

The Zelda Wii U opening is clearly a homage to Mononoke.

I pissed myself at the Bowser doughnut thing.

Splatoon looks fun as Hell.

Yoshi looks God damn stunning.

My Mii is going to be more badass than yours in Smash Bros.

I want to see Ufotable redo that Palutena reveal.
 
Splatoon was the best thing I've seen at this year's E3, in terms of absolute creativity. Holy shit. Even the visual style was sharp as heck.

I said this on twitter, but I'll say it again here, it looks like a Dreamcast 2 SEGA 1st party launch title. I love it. I'm so hyped.

Buying a Wii U this Friday. Fuck it.
 
Splatoon best gameplay out of the big conferences, something that could actually have me considering a WiiU in the future.

I'd put their show in 2nd place in terms of games I'm interested in playing.

You're completely delusional if you think EA had a better conference than MS and Sony. They of "here's two seconds of Battlefront and Mass Effect prototype and all our sports games"
 
My 3ds XL is probably going on ebay then :( played everything that I deemed worthwhile on it and I was basically keeping it for a possible metroid and majoras mask, further zeldas. If it does come out end of 2015 I'll buy one again, but I'm not loosing value on it just to collect dust :/

As for the wiiu, I will unfortunately postpone my buy to 2015 then. This was all a major disappointment :(
 
I expected that there wouldn't be a great deal of PS4 and Xbox One stuff coming this year, but given the Wii U's head start, I expected there to be a great deal more for 2014. The amount stuff set for 2015 is pretty disappointing.

It seems like Nintendo is leaning on its (near non-existent) 3rd party support?
 
Nintendo finally hitting their stride on Wii U, too bad it just feels like it's a year late and squandered their early launch advantage. Imagine if their 2015 lineup was for 2014, the console would really break out. I just worry this is too little, too late.
 
Surprisingly entertaining Event. Captivated me more than Sony/Microsoft. Splatoon was the surprise hit for me. But just a Palutena and Mii reveal (for now)? And 3DS Smash pushed out of summer 2014? NNNNOOOO!!!

BTW, Mario Party 10 logo just showed up with Bill Trinen talking about Amiibo.

Holy Moly, I did not expect to get so hyped up by Nintendo's thingy. Looks like I'm rebuying a Wii U. God, Splatoon and Zelda looked amazing!
 
Devils' Third looks fun to play, but man though graphics look rough and I don't think it's the poor stream quality. And was that Eva Mendez?
