Sorta off-topic, did Vita get ANY exclusives so far?

Were getting ports of Tales of the Borderlands and Disney Infinity alongside ANOTHER AMAZING HD Collection in the form of the PS2 Ratchet Trilogy and Tales of Hearts R.....

It was okay :l. At least Vita owners are getting many of the announced indie games at Sony's Conference alongside Grim Fandangio getting a Vita version (never played it but heard it is a classic ).

But this new of FF Type-0 is just...talk about getting punched in the face and getting kicked in the balls X(. We asked for it to come....yet, it isn't coming to the platform we expected it too . At least it IS coming stateside officially but still....at least they could have flat out said that it isn't coming to Vita instead of fucking trolling us with the PS Blog Post...

Still though, we could be looking at a Child of Light situation here; the console version coming out first and the handheld version coming out a month or two latter, so HOPEFULLY that is the case here :l.

It's ON PS Vita! Think... if they make the remaster for PS4, it must, by default, be able to be remotely played on the Vita. Square is just being brilliant by not making redundant Vita copies and giving you Remastered (tm) graphics super downsampled onto your OLED screen!

You should be thanking Square for this glorious opportive opportunity. Hope that helps.

I'm very much looking forward to playing this game on my recently purchased xbox one. I always figured everyone who pushed for the game did so because they wanted to play it, not because they wanted the VITA to have a game. I like my VITA very much, but I'll this game on consoles over not having it at all which was the other alternative. At least I can play it

It would do just fine in Japan sales wise and I'm sure it will be enough to cover the cost of porting the game to vita. PS4/Xb1 for example are absolutely dead in that market. And this is a game that vita fans have been asking for years now. This is just fucked up on so many levels

PS4/X1 game (and localization) is obviously a project aimed to the west, not so much to Japan, and either way the Vita is not going to run for much longer, Sony aren't trying to do much for it, at least Nintendo are with the Wii U, but if it was down to Japan only, it would have been a 3DS game, and it's not, so they want this game out on as many current-gen consoles out here.

I was really excited. I'm still kinda excited but not as excited as before. I would have enjoyed it a lot more on a Vita than on a PS4. But man, what a let down. They announce it for the Vita and then just pull a fast one changing it to PS4/Xbone only. You would think it would sell more on the Vita in Japan anyways.

Why doesn't it make sense? The two systems share very similar PC-like architecture now. Seems like it should be much easier to cross develop on XboxOne and PS4 than PS4 and Vita. They also probably want some sort of home console single player Final Fantasy game since who the fuck knows how far out FF15 and KH3 are.

Well, guess that's it. I planned on getting the Vita version, but since it's been cancelled, I'll enjoy the PSP instead(for the third time probably). Don't think I will buy the PS4 version since I don't think I will be playing it on PS4 that much. It's really a game made for portables after all. Just hoping it *may* come to the Vita in Japan at least...

I guarantee SE looked at porting it to Vita. It probably wasn't a profitable avenue. The meltdowns in here are incredible, be happy it's coming stateside at all.

The crazy part about this is that it actually would be super-profitable to do this in Japan where the Vita is king and the PS4 is treated like an ugly stepchild by Japanese developers.

Oh right, well, even if the levels are segmented they can just load a huge section on the memory and then would be no loading times going from area to area, that would be the easy/cheap workaround, I wouldn't think that they went to the trouble of making small areas seamless, would be great tho.

Still I think the only real problem is the local multiplayer, but it won't be that big of an issue for most of us.

Assuming the multiplayer in KH:BBS for PS3 is intact that is probably going to be the template for how it will translate to PS4.

I actually think if they put some real work into this game (and not just leave it as a remaster) it'd actually go a long way to show that SE did actually make a great game under the Fabula Nova Crystallis banner.

People who own a Vita pushed for it to be on the Vita because that was the platform that was the most realistic option. Not everyone has or wants a next-gen console right now.
