It still is embarrasing for Sony even if it was a S-E fuck up. With the twitter tag and all.
Sony will shows now how #4DAPLAYERS they are now footing the bill for the Vita version right?
I'm not sure of that. I believe SCEA's blog staff have control over the titles. We've seen incorrect platform listings in the past. I remember a couple of Aksys games that were PS3/Vita only mentioned PS3 in the title before being corrected afterwards. I guess SCEA's person wasn't given a title from SE, read the body (which never mentioned a platform) and assumed it would be on Vita.
Fucking Shahid and his "Megaton" tweet. Unreal. This is hillarious.
The way it works is that you send them the post text and art, and they set it all up. You never get to directly edit the content yourself, just reply to comments with a red BG.
Sony are not Square Enix. You guys are mad now, wait until Gravity Rush 2 gets moved to ps4
Thanks. If you want the context of the gif: it's from the german political satire show "Heute Show" where they send the journalist to the party conference of a small party (FDP) they wanted to see fail at a local election... and then they didn't fail.
I'm laughing. So sorry Shahid.Persist. Believe. Persevere. Win.
Utterly hilarious.

This is the same company that promised, year after year, that FFXIII was exclusive to the PS3, and tricked legions of fans into paying $600 for a machine back in 2006 only for it to go multi-plat in 2009.
This is the same company that showed off FFXIII Versus back in 2006 and eight years later we don't even have a release date in sight.
This is the same company that took 3 years to do a PS2 port from 2001.
This is the same company that made not one, but TWO sequels no one asked for, to a game no one liked.
This is the same company that remade FFVI 20 years later, on mobile phones with RPGmaker level graphics.
This is the same company that showed up at the PS4 reveal and their presentation was "please be excited."
The only thing I'm surprised at are the Vita fans who didn't see any of this coming.
Maybe because they can probably recycle some Final Fantasy XV assets.Wuuuuuuuuut
Will buy on PS4 I guess. But how do you put FFX HD on Vita but not this![]()
Now I'm conflicted. Do I play my Japanese PSP copy when it arrives, or do I wait the PS4 version ?
After reading this thread I feel really sad for Vit aowners. Goddamn Square fucked this up.
I went for a nap and suddenly this place is on fire, what happened?!

Because I imagine he actually pushed for it, had a good idea of a Vita version being tested and A SQUARE ENIX REP CONFIRMING IT in the blog.
Vita means suffering.
Good that I slept through the initial announcement and subsequent clarification. I'll probably buy a PS4 sometime down the line and this game, but if it gets a physical release you can bet I'll buy it used with a passive-aggressive smirk on my face. u_u
No, not really. You know how Square could have really fucked up? Never releasing Type-0 in the west at all.
I'm way happier that we're getting Type-0 in the west on ANY platform than I could be bummed about not getting it on Vita.
Priority #1 should be getting Type-0 at all in the West, followed by a long second on what platform it releases for.
Could someone please do a reading of that meltdown post ?

This is something ONLY Square Enix could do, congrats. I will never buy it even if I do plan to buy a PS4.
PSP it is, then.
So what they put up is what Square told them right?
I don't actually know how the PS blogs work, but it honestly wouldn't surprise me if all the Square Enix producer did was write the body text of that post. I don't think the people who run the blog are in the habit of letting random PR people have publishing rights on their blogs, and chances are it's PS blog staffers who wrote the original headline. But I could totally be wrong on that--I know some GAFfers have posted to the PS blog before so they'd be the ones who would know definitively. (I don't actually expect any of them to wade into this mess, though.)
So you'd be ok if it got release over here as an IOS title?
Yes, but they usually edit as they post. So it's possible SCEA got something wrong with the editing.
Like, every blog post I've done has had some editing, and I don't think they've ever used the title I've provided.
