What the fuck!??! Why don't they release some gameplay, obviously they are confident enough with what they got so far. Just give us a taste to all fans!

Behind closed doors demos/trailers are the fucking worst.

Not sure if they're just doing it because it's this traditionally Japanese thing to do, because they really want to control the message or because it's so early that they don't want it to be seen in fear of negative backlash, but given the impressions we've heard so far I'd rule out the latter reason. Not that I like the first two either.

Guys what does one get when you cross two GOTG's......what the flip happens.......this is amazing in every way I expected. Its like when the hype train actually delivers, dreams coming true.
 
Need that gameplay demo ><

I mostly play Souls games sword (and fire hand) and board, so this'll be a change of pace. I'm excited for it though.

If someone only watched the conference trailer, then I can clearly see why they are confused. It did not have any logo besides "FROM SOFTWARE" and the Miyazaki name drop. Shu also did not mention the platform or anything about being exclusive.


It was only after the conference was over that they uploaded the trailer to the playstation youtube channel and it suddenly had a Japan Studio logo in the video and mention of being exclusive in the description.
 
You acquire souls from fallen enemies? Not sure i like that.
I liked the new blood thematic, i hope they'd move away from Souls, in this sense.
It's not Blood Souls or Beast Souls after all.

It had 'Sony Computer Entertainment of America presents' or w/e right at the beginning before From Software. When has that ever not meant an exclusive?

I wonder why they didn't at least let us see 3 minutes on gameplay on the conference. Everything sounds awesome and it surely would have increased my mark for Sony's conference

He says before they announce that 180 degree dual shotgun combo you can't dodge.

Sounds like it might not be running great yet. Noticeable framedrops aren't good for a conference showing

It feels like they're spacing out the reveals so people will keep talking about the game each time there's something new released, instead of blowing it all at once. Pretty smart move actually. It's really clear by now that they do have the game playable and running, so it's not like they're afraid to show anything.

Did it really? I saw a bunch of confused posts on GAF about the platform and whether or not Japan Studio had anything to do with it. I don't know why every other game had multiple mentions of being exclusive but they skipped that for this.

There will always be a broken day one exploit that will linger for months. Just the nature of these games. I really hope there's magic in the game though. Or just good ranged options. Will be disappointed if the options are limited to close shotty or close one/two-handed weapons.

Why they hide things like these from the consumers who throw money at them!!!

Did anyone else had shivers down their spine when the guy on youtube described those crow enemies? all this more aggressive combat talk is making me crazy...where the fuck is the damn demo Sony? we need to see this like right know!

Yeah I hate cheap shit. But it's even more satisfying when you defeat someone abusing it. Like the backstep/parry shit in DS2.

It's an IP held by Sony, it's being produced by Sony Japan Studio and developed by From Software.
