I'm convinced that From Software is Sony's new Squaresoft.
They're hitting all the right notes for gamers that love Japanese games. I hope Sony continues to leverage the relationship properly.
People are mentioning that it suffers from framerate issues, so I doubt Sony wants to put footage out here given the reactions that some recent games have received after being shown in a rough state.
They trademarked it so yes.Anyone knows if IP belongs to Sony? I know the game is exclusive.
edit nevermind.
I'm wondering if the game's "safe zone" (The Nexus, Firelink Shrine, Majula) will be a cathedral. It fits thematically with the Gothic aesthetic and all the angel statues.
As such there's no shield in Bloodborne

The trademark was submitted by SCEA so I guess it's theirs? I don't know about this stuff. :/If Sony funds/publishes, it's 99.99% certain that the IP is owned by Sony.
The real Demons Souls starts here!

As much as I love Souls series and recommend it to every RL friend I have (then losing them in the process)... you have to be realistic.I'm convinced that From Software is Sony's new Squaresoft.

Doesn't look very next gen though.

Their games appeal to a small subset of the gaming community, and will never pull near FF or CoD numbers.
Will this game have a "fixed" main character(with name, background story,etc..) or will be costumizable like Demon's souls/Dark Souls?
If i get it there is only one character but we are able to cutomize him, maybe i'm wrong ?
Oh and apparently the Dengeki Playstation interview with Miyazaki further confirms that you can create a female character too. So those worrying about a "fixed" character probably don't have anything to worry about.![]()
wait a second, does this game have multiplayer (co-op/invasions) like the Souls series?

from what people who read the leaked Famitsu have said it's going to be kind of a side game to the Souls series and more low fantasy compared to high fantasy. They are replacing magic with gadgets, guns and such. Main mechanic seems to be related to blood and blood is also used to regain your HP and gain various other benefits. You get blood sucking it from corpses or items. Sucking too much blood will turn you into a beast which I suppose is this game's Soul/Hollow form. The game will apparently become a lot harder to play/control when in beast mode. To become a human again you need human blood and is where the online component comes into play.
From the Eurogamer preview:
As to how exactly the process of fighting alongside other players will work, Miyazaki's coy. "The key concept, or phrase, that we have right now is it's an open explorative community," is all he'll give away.
woahSo far we got this info from Lte7 in the other thread which is apparently in the famitsu magazine. Not sure if true
There are some games, where you don't even have to see gameplay stuff.haven't seen a lick of official gameplay and I got this baby pre-ordered. Based on info and impressions alone so far. I've never done that before o__o
oh yeah, also did it for Uncharted 4 at the same time![]()

Special message from Director Hidetaka Miyazaki:
Creating Bloodborne as a completely new game on the new PlayStation 4 hardware has allowed us to really push the envelope in myriad ways. That being said, in more ways than one, it also very much retains our distinct, signature style. As has been at the core of our development philosophy since Demons Souls, we make true games for people who love games. Please watch for more to come on Bloodborne, and thank you very much for your support.
-> Team ICO games
Guys Gamekult ( french website ) made a new preview of the game ( http://www.gamekult.com/actu/e3-2014-bloodborne-nos-impressions-A133651.html ) so if you understand french...
A big info : the zones of the game are connected between them, as in Dark Souls 1 !![]()
