It's moments like these that you forget all about Nightmare Creatures. I'm actually thankful for the reference. Van Helsing has a sweetness to it like old candy. It sounds good before you try it, then the bitter aftertaste is less than appealing.

Because they want to convey their excitement? They want to imply it is a system seller to them? I see absolutely nothing wrong with it.Don't worry about people and whether they're port begging or not - let the mods do their job and decide.

And wow, between Bloodborne, The Order and Uncharted, 2015 is shaping up to be an amazing year.
As long as it doesn't become 2016.

Stop already! That wasn't port begging. he's saying he doesn't have the console BUT IS GOING TO BUY ONE! doesn't mean hes whining for the game to come to xbox. Big difference. And the "stealth" thing isn't even clever.
 
I would okay.....no very happy if traditional magic was gone. Replaced by magic guns, or guns or maybe instead of it being Soul arts we have blood arts.

If instead of faith and miracles they have a very religious class that throws holy water at everything because fuck you praise him I'll be that class in a heart beat.
 
I've yet to read a single thing that has put me off about this game.

Demon's Souls GOTY 2009
Dark Souls GOTY 2011
Bloodborne GOTY, ALL THE YEARS (or at least 2015)
 
Amaziiiiiiiiiiing.
Now the debate of the millennium.. What to buy first. On the one hand we have X on Wii U on the other hand we have Bloodporn on PS4... Shiiiiiiieeeeet. I'll try to get both before either game releases.
 
Time for the obligatory: Gaf I haven't really given Demons'''s' Soul's a chance. I know I should give it another shot but I need affirmation.

I hope he's right about the "no shields" statement and I hope From doesn't 180 on that decision. I've always felt like shields were too big of a crutch in Souls games and it'd be an excellent way to change up the formula.

Initially, someone speculated that guns might replace the magic system (an idea I really liked), but from the gameplay impressions it looks like it's a bit different after all. There isn't a big place for ranged combat in the sense of the Souls series if the gameplay is faster and more aggressive.

I wonder if there will be bows or another form of long-range attack or if it's all up in your face now.

I agree, and I'm a shield user so I know I use it as a crutch.

Very excited for this game, sounds just excellent.

Also, this encourages me to do a no shield run in DS. Thinking katana/dagger double wield.

I don't transform, but I do indeed get lots of pleasure from listening to his work. :-p

I really hope Kida is the composer for Bloodborne. A more gothic sounding soundtrack (to fit in with the theme of the game) would be wonderful.

The description he gave of the city and the way he described that room being pitch black and how he illuminated it with a torch got me so excited lol. The other hunter across the rooftop stuff he was talking about was also cool. I'm assuming that's an NPC you can help?
 
If there is magic, i guess it's going to be close range stuff like Soul Greatsword, buffs and debuffs etc. Range will probably be repalced with mechanisms and machinery. Maybe all magic will be.

Anyway, my PS4 gets purchased the day this releases.
 
The E3 reveal was super disappointing. They could have simply showed a few minutes of gameplay to really demonstrate the potential of the game, rather than a boring ass CG trailer.
