E3 2014 | Nintendo Treehouse Live @ E3 [ it's over :( ]

The criticism is justified as criticism conveyed helps evolve the proof of concept into a more tangible product.

This is my opinion, I respect yours; however, in order for this proof of concept to be materialized into a full-pledged product and be successful as a property if ever Nintendo green-lights the project, there is bound to be some changes. Gameplay comes first though, no argument.

Oh of course, and I'm sorry if I came off as disrespectful. Since it's reveal yesterday all I've seen is people complaining that it looks unfinished and they wouldn't pay for it, and I'm like, what do you expect? It's a concept demo that's being shown so early that Miyamoto himself was embarrassed about it. So seeing comments like "the art style is bad" are bewildering to me because it's like, at this stage in development there IS no art style. It's so far off from being any kind of releasable product I don't know why that would even be a concern for someone.

But yes, they would obviously need to do quite a lot to it before it could ever be something to release to the public - be it an eShop title, its own full retail game, or added in to another game.

lol
You guys act like Nintendo is Disney.
:P
They're a Japanese company, I doubt they care about promoting games with boobs and stuff(Ex: Cia).

You act like Nintendo hadn't just spent two console generations to build up an image as strictly family friendly company. Just like Disney :P

So I've never played the first one and really didn't give it much interest.
But the addition of touch controls that could help me if I struggle, has actually convinced me to buy 1+2 when it comes out. I'm glad it's not the sole option but for someone like me that wants to experience it but afraid the difficulty would be too brutual, it's perfect.

Sold. Treehouse Feed > Wallet.

I have a feeling Bayonetta 1 is not going to be digital hence the issue with not including it with 2. I will get retail just because I like having something for the collection.

I just had the realisation that I have literally watched nothing but this stream since the Digital Event

welp

Same. I watched a few minutes of gamespot showing off Evolve, but everything I'm interested in that they're talking about are things I'll get to play in a few days, so why bother watching video of it now? This stream has been way more entertaining.

They went through the inventory screen a little to show mixing items on the touchpad. Bayonetta was equipped with Shuraba.

Seems that, at least in the current dev build, costumes have something like the perfume effect to reskin certain weapons.

Well they've been building up a family image since the NES, but I doubt a Japanese company would be so prudish about skimpy outfits.
:P
They have a completely different culture from ours.

the ground textures actually look pretty sharp. last time I played it on 360 I'm pretty sure that they looked very blurry because there didn't seem to be any texture filtering.
