If they're fans of Valkyria Chronicles (and let's face it, the IS guys most likely did play VC since they're strategy rpg fans) -- why wouldn't Nintendo work with Sega on developing a new IP with the VC team instead? Seems kinda lame to copy their game...

I wonder how action-y the 3rd person side was. VC is awesome but the 3rd person shooting side is pretty arbitrary besides ducking behind cover to get hit less by enemy fire.
