Downloaded it all (6.6GB) in like 20 minutes, on a 60MB internet.
So far, I really do enjoy it and is pretty much a day 1. I kinda wish the area was bigger and more to explore ( can we find random loot through exploration in crates? that would be awesome)
I also went down some building and ended up underground, met some unfriendly fallen who 1 hit killed me and took 0 damage, cant wait to level up and kill them ( actual game of course)
Is it only this one mission?
The atmosphere is great, as well as the soundtrack. Going into the dark rooms with just a single source of light felt very eerie. Really is game you find much more enjoyable with headphones.

I've been trying to get that mini boss from the first E3 demo to show up in that area but he's never there. Did you have to get a beacon for him to be there?

I reset my download (bad idea) and i downloaded 150mb in one hour.
so at this rate, it should be done in 2 days. YAY!

You can also party up on the fly. If you're in the field and want to invite someone to your fireteam, look at them, click the right stick, and press options.
My download started out an hour ago at 69 hours and is now down to 83 minutes. 25/25 connection here, hopefully it's done soon..the Hardline beta was downloading super fast for me.

To use your super:
The bar in the lower left must be completely filled. The game will tell you when your super is charged up. It's more of a panic button or a way to do burst DPS than something you can use frequently.

You might have a different control scheme from the standard. Did you change it?
You have to activate a beacon, but the beacons are random. Try near the place he appears, which is near the Wall.

I was never into Halo and played it solely for co-op; I've always been a hardcore CoD player. This seems to blend the best of both games perfectly and is hands down the best thing I've played this gen. I can't get over just how much exploration there is for an alpha, it's insane.

Just remembered. One slight nitpick: Can we have an option to turn off the hitmarkers? Makes the single-player portions feel a bit multiplayer-like.

Graphics are decent. I love everything about the game so far but why 30fps? PS4 should be able to handle this game at 60
The 30fps doesn't bother you? It reminds me of Killzone on the PS3. I'll adjust to it but for now it's kind of weird

You can shoot off its blue-energy cannon on the top. Also, aim for the legs (the yellow spots). That'll cause him to expose his red spot...brain...thing. Then move on to the next leg.

Fios throttles different companies unless they pay up... that might be the case. Also it's an Alpha... so servers for download may have been under estimated... and this will give them a better idea of demand for Sept. 9th.

I finished the tutorial mission and went to the Tower, only to find a gate blocks me from going into the area where I have a green objective marker. I'm assuming I'm not allowed in for alpha?
While I was in the tutorial mission a random public quest boss spawned. I shot at it for awhile and it's HP didn't even budge. I guess they balanced it for a zerg of 20 people, not me solo.
Graphics look really good, comparable to Killzone Shadow Fall at first glance.
