Bloodborne leaked gameplay trailer (new leak, early footage)

That looks insane. Looks like roll and backdash speeds have been increased, with some awesome blur effect added to make the fights less about hiding behind a shield and more about being proactive. Also a glimpse of the scythe/saw transformation. The bosses also look fantastic. Damn, I need this now.

Working on the lyrics for the song

Ignoring framerate this is EXACTLY the kind of momentum and flow of combat (ala Ninja Gaiden to an extent really) I dreamed a Souls game would have! Wouldn't hurt to see a newer build soon though!

I'm going to guess the footage in this trailer is some months old, considering they don't have proper title in place. Some audio also seems amiss.
In any case, looks terrific.

That was awesome, and even more awesome is how much better it will look after seeing the more recent build at e3.

reminds me so much of solomon kane

i thought the same thing at first.

but then the new trailers make it look more like the brotherhood of the wolf:

I'll PM it to you. Don't want to post it here because it'll be taken down with the quickness.

Please PM me as well! I'm still using the onlysp and it's causing a great deal of issues whenever I pause/play it multiple times :_:

Even from the off screen footage you can see how much they've improved the visuals, at least in my opinion. Looks absolutely fantastic, cant wait to see more at Gamescom/TGS? I

And to think it's only got way better looking since this trailer...

Now we can do badass dashes to dodge stuff rather than having to roll everywhere too? Holy shit are they going to reveal that this game gives free sexual favours next!?

don't know if someone posted yet but a lot of info in Dengeki interview

Sony approached him asking if he wanted to work on another game with them for their then-upcoming PlayStation 4, an offer that he happily accepted as someone already keen to collaborate with them again. As such, he states that Bloodborne had always been planned to be a PlayStation 4 game from the start.
The gun in the E3 trailer, he mentions, can change shape and such distinct characteristics are present throughout the game’s weaponry, with the focus therefore being on figuring out how to best utilize a given weapon’s gimmicks, rather than just the latent properties of more straightforward weapons occupying conventional tropes.
In terms of consumable items, Miyazaki says that he isn’t quite ready to delve into very many specifics, but he does explicitly mention that the team is looking into making it possible to using HP healing items with just a single button press in order for them to not detract from combat.
Miyazaki also touched upon character customization, saying that the protagonist has a selectable gender and that their face can be fine-tuned, with the overall extent of customization likely falling somewhere in line with what Demon’s Souls had available.

seeing so many new details everytime i rewatch

this is the best trailer since fucking half life 2 ravenholm

This is incredible. True HYPE! As a huge Souls fan, I'm very excited. This will sell PS4s to the number of people I know who got a PS3 for Demon's.

The visuals look good to me, but the e3 press demo looked markedly better I believe. Awesome.

Thank you, Zeliard!

Holy hell! Sony should have definitely gone with this trailer instead for their E3 reveal. I like the trailer they showed but this one is much better in showing the gameplay even with the frame rate and tearing issues. People (well the most informed ones) would understand that the game is a work in progress and things would get better down the line. But I understand their decision to go with a newer build than this old one. Still freaking hyped!

Some good bits:

The mechanized nature of the setting is something he wants to take full advantage of the game with various tricks and gimmicks, a desire that extends as far as the weapons, remarking that the weapons will be imaginative and diverse in their capabilities.

However, on the flip side, he wants to avoid a common pitfall that he perceives in other games that make healing items the default selectable item where the strategic usefulness of other types of items are rendered comparatively ambiguous, although he doesn’t provide specifics about how he intends to combat that particular issue.

Miyazaki also touched upon character customization, saying that the protagonist has a selectable gender and that their face can be fine-tuned, with the overall extent of customization likely falling somewhere in line with what Demon’s Souls had available.

I won't clean SHIT until this game is out. This desktop is getting crazier and crazier for each day

This part is so true:

In terms of consumable items, Miyazaki says that he isn’t quite ready to delve into very many specifics, but he does explicitly mention that the team is looking into making it possible to using HP healing items with just a single button press in order for them to not detract from combat. That's a very specific issue to tackle, one that I always thought about in these kinds of games. I'm sure whatever he's going to do about it is going to work wonderfully. Umbasa bless this man :)

This trailer is incredible. Some designs are almost vomit-inducing.

I haven't seen so far different equipment for the character though. Is it a safe assumption that only one armor was shown?

Interesting stuff but that framerate is truly awful.
I'm half hoping that this game has no pvp just so i don't have to buy a PS4.

Yeah looking at those covers. Hopefully we can equip both outfits/armors (and more), as said in the previous thread I also get some cool VHD vibes from him.

Amazing. So glad it finally leaked. Definitely appears to be an older build compared to the very little we have seen at E3 this year.

So exciting. I already pre-ordered.
