DO you guys have problem with the PVP netcode too ? I always have a problem that i shoot at the enemy hit them ( 100 % sure) and nothing shows up and they dont die. ??

I think it has to be formed through invites. Anyway, not many people play with microphones.

There's a GAF clan? How does one join it? This game seems to have very little instructions.

In other news, I had another go at it tonight, still didn't manage to beat the wizard but I was able to slip past him and see the rest of the area, which was interesting. Also when entering the game this time I found out about The Tower, which seems to be a space town where you can buy guns, ammo, armor etc, which is handy. Though none of the guns I could get seemed to be strong enough to let me kick that enemy wizard ass.

Well some people were saying they say no one outside or in the tower so maybe it just plays like an empty single player game without +

Titans can actually take more damage than the other two classes. Hunters have faster movement speed. Warlocks regenerate more quickly.

Other players don't have level-based health/damage advantages over you in the Crucible, but the weapons and gear do have gameplay attributes that remain effective.

Thank you! Everyone seemed to go down in the same amount of time for me, so thanks for letting me know!

So weapon damage actually does matter?

Could be a client side NAT issue if people aren't matching.

Without Plus, you'll still be able to play the story mode, explore the worlds, and visit the Tower.
 
i really hope there are some different reload animations in the full game and the weapons are more than just a few parts in different combinations and colors
 
Does joining the DestinyGAF clan make it more likely that other clan members will randomly pop in while I'm exploring Old Russia? Or is it just typical clan PVP stuff?
 
I'm confused. I'm enjoying it so far, but I went to the tower, and my objective says to talk to some person, and points to their direction, but that whole "north" area seems to be walled off.

Also, a second objective points to the "east" area entrance. But if I enter there, it disappears. Where am I supposed to go? lol

Not sure, but it seemed a lot of people on my friends list where already in my world when I just started.

There's a staircase that leads down. Take that instead of the gated area.

Friend and I went exploring this morning. Managed to find that cool area a lot of people were talking about with the cars. This was on our way back. I "think" that's the starting area, and you gradually make your way further into the zone from there.

Can't connect to the game. (US PSN) stuck at contacting platform server and then it tells me Unable to connect to psn (I'm online, I see people playing in my friend list)

That would make sense since the cars area looks like a dead end.
 
I'm not feeling it. Everything feels quite repetitive already and I was hoping when you were just exploring the world to see other people. Are you supposed to and it's just quiet where I am, or are you solo until events start?

I haven't seen anyone in an event either yet, mind you. Just got my arse handed to me by a spider tank just casually spawning.

Yup, you haven't finished the Alpha until you've seen that area.
 
From the little I have played so far im really impressed. I had some random guys join me in the middle of me getting overrun and that was some epic stuff. Feels somewhat like Halo and ME melded together. Now im definitely preordering this game.
