I created a new US PSN account because I got a code from a Bungie employee ( <3 thanks if you are reading this!!! ). I didn't know you automatically get PS+ when you create a new US PSN account?
ComputerMKII, me too. I joined DestinyGAF as it was created first. I think some people think that that one is full or something? Some people also don't want to be in a clan where also Xbox and PS3 users are in, for some weird ass reason.

Sure, you could play the alpha without ps+. PS+ will be needed for crucible/strikes/raids at launch.
I was talking in general. The Alpha may have been open, but the list had "Playstation Plus subscription required" when you went to select PvP.

Membership is unknown, I think, and the other group was created to alleviate the numbers? I'd rather everything be under one group, as I hear you can create sub-divisions within it. It seems kinda confusing and creating some drama, so I'm not going to participate in the discussion.

Nothing weird about it, just find it of no use.
As for merging groups, if it can be done without all the members having to reapply I'm sure that could be discussed.
The question has been asked if the members of that other group want it closed down, a decision will be made upon the response.
Can't be more accommodating than that, I have not seen much coming from others though, just demands ..... not exactly conducive to co operation.

If it wasn't it was because they did something wrong. Just make the track pad one to one with the screen so the if I start in the cent and move to the edge the cursor goes to the edge etc. And why not offer the choice?

I kinda wish the touchpad was more than just a select button like many games just use it for now.
For example, Assassin's Creed 4 used it for the map pretty well. Also, Warframe and KZ:SF used it to basically do 4 more buttons using a simple swipe in a different direction.

so i downloaded defiance because it went f2p to see if it could scratch that destiny/borderlands/diablo/loot/rpg game itch i have right now and it didn't even touch it i am now sad with nothing to play =(

Lol. Passive aggressive much? I am not saying it was simple, but just it should be a choice. I have seen some games do it poorly (wasn't a fan of the map control in AC4), but Child of Light nailed it with one to one tracking. Are we going to say the small team behind Child of Light has more know how than all of Bungie. I don't think so. Instead it is a developer deciding for us what's best rather than offering an option.
Take Futurelab as a great example. They thought touch to teleport and shooting bombs with the right stick in Velocity was not a good way to play the game at all, however, they put it in as an option because people asked for it and I used both successfully to Platinum that game. Developers can't always speak for their entire audience so if at all possible add things as an option.

Yes 60 FPS is better we know but the Alpha was rock fucking solid for me, I actually thought it was pushing way above 30 actually.

Awesome! I think I applied over the weekend during the Alpha but I guess I didn't or hit the wrong button.
I was confused with the PS4 group today too. I joined thinking it was a remake of the Alpha group that maybe got too large. If everyone can join this and then we can split members into platform-specific subgroups, I'd personally rather go that route. My .02 at least, I'm sure everything will work out eventually.
