Stop being salty, the ones that were playing better are the ones that deserve to win. OF COURSE that nulled goal fucked Bosnia's mind, but we have to analyse the game considering what is happening and not IFs.
Nigeria dominated them for more than half of the time so they deserve to be winning, if Bosnia can't get their shit together after the nulled goal its their own problem, The one's playing better are winning, you can't deny that.
The best athletes make a mint in hoops or football. When money makes its way to soccer stateside, you'll start to see America fielding some talented teams. There's plenty talent and money in youth sports to develop a strong soccer program here. There's just not the interest from corporations. The rest of the world should honestly be glad America hasn't taken interest in soccer and pimped it out to the n-th degree. I don't think it's bragging, as I wasn't even born here. But American athletics are something to be feared. PEACE.

I'm fine with the decision going either way really. The defender is almost running away from ball it's well past him and looks as though it's a clash of legs. But you can see how it can be given both ways.
Video doesn't really do much for these kinds of decisions. A computer can't tell you if a foul was committed..not yet. But if the ball had crossed the line or if a player is offside - that's where we need to focus initially.
You can't cry over spilled milk, Bosnia has to get their shit together and play better than Nigeria. That didn't happen and they got dominated by Nigeria, whilst is why I said they deserve to win.

Back when Football was gaining in popularity in England. Rugby Football was the main "Football" that was popular. What the English now know as Football was referred to Association Football, which was eventually shortened by the English to the colloquial term "Soccer"
When the sport travelled to the colonies/former colonies/America, it kept the same terminology, mostly. Eventually "Gridiron Football" was developed in the US and replaced Rugby as the predominant Rugby-type Football in the US.
Sadly, I'm not the one who invented the term, so I can't provide the thought process behind it. It definitely doesn't sound like something an American would come up with just based on the way they abbreviate words, which makes sense because it's a British invention.
If it were an American/Canadian word, they'd probably have called it Assoash or something dumb like that

It was first played and is now most frequently played in the US. That's how it gained American

The fact that you just said the score should not be 1-1 is beyond anything. It''s not about how the goal affected their minds, it's about the first goal being a bloody legit goal so anything besides 1-1 is unpalatable. Feelings like "effort" or"domination" is totally besides the point.
