Is this the fastest thread in the history of NEOGAF?
No way.
Off-topic though, maybe.

This whole game is slow motion.is bosnia moving in slow motion?
How does association turning into soccer makes sense, just because of ''soc''? Not trolling, I'm not understanding how this makes so much sense to you. Again, I'm not trolling.
What? I hate these two. I quite like the rest of your team especially Hummels.
Only when the USA plays and scores. You get like 50 pages of eagles in a matter of seconds.
Because it's played on foot.

Aye, how quickly people hopped on the derail is proof that the game just isn't all that hot.The disallowed goal killed the mood in this thread and on the pitch.
You're right, 1970 is worthy of consideration. It's a fluid development, 1974 is where the changes to the game are realised in full force, imo, the advent of the libero (Beckenbauer), Total Football (Cruyff), just a completely new intensity and pace compared to earlier. But I do concede that 1970 could be marked as well.Even by your logic you're wrong by at least four years. 1970 World Cup was the first one to be both completly broadcasted in color and distributed live via satellite to all the world. How does 1974 mark what modern football is and not, say, 1970?
Modern football starts in 1974? Yet Brazil's 1970 team is up there as one of the best teams to ever play the game?
This thread.
this has to be the stupidest reason ive ever heard and hope to god you're being facetious![]()
lol I mean what would cause the signal? There isn't a specific line the players have to cross for it to be offside and there are exceptions to the rule like Suarez's goal for example. I'm just confused about how that would even work.
They are way better than Greece and Japan. WAY better.votes for the most boring team in the world cup? Thought it was Iran, but it may just be Nigeria
I don't even get what you're saying right now.

Newcastle hopefully
.I would say right after 1970, with the Holland teams and national team.
That wasn't "an exception" though...lol I mean what would cause the signal? There isn't a specific line the players have to cross for it to be offside and there are exceptions to the rule like Suarez's goal for example. I'm just confused about how that would even work.
4th video ref and/or some kind of technological option.
He is right... Can you let it go pls
Pulga, how do you call this move in Honduras?

You could use technology to indicate players in an offside position. That's not impossible. But given the intricacies of the offside rule, it'd be difficult to send that information to the referee in a timely manner in a way that's useful. I mean, a buzz telling the referee that a player is offside doesn't necessarily mean that a foul's being committed and that play should stop.
Oh, well a video ref would be good. Would need a radio though really, unless it's like 1 buzz for yes, 2 for no.
They already use a headset to communicateOh, well a video ref would be good. Would need a radio though really, unless it's like 1 buzz for yes, 2 for no.
