Well, Mercury wasn't on the map in the E3 video, nor was there an outline for it on the map in the Alpha. Cut content? DLC? Unlocked later on?

Group, but we'll be establishing clans inside it once the option becomes available. I'm sure there will be people who are playing competitively, though we haven't seen how far that reaches on Bungie's side.

To expand upon the theories, let's go all-in crazy conspiracy time!
The Traveler is the actual evil in the game; it floats through the universe and its galaxies, destroying the planets in solar systems within them. When the Traveler arrived in our solar system, mankind had already terraformed and colonized Mars and Venus by themselves; the Traveler destroyed it all. The Hive were the invasion force for the Traveler and helped it in eradicating humankind. During the Traveler's rampage on Earth, we managed to successfully wound the Traveler, forcing it into a dormant state and severely damaging the its outer hull, but eventually we were still overrun by the Hive and humankind was eradicated. Then, at some point, civilizations that had survived the Traveler's previous rampages caught up with the Traveler and tried to find ways to destroy it. They drove back the Hive to the Moon and locked them away. The Traveler sent out the Ghosts to revive the dead warriors of humankind in order to build an army to protect itself. A city was built underneath the Traveler as a base of operations, and some of the revived humans transformed into Awoken in the process of their revival. All of the revived humans / exos were implanted with the story of the Traveler being their last hope and the other factions being driven by 'The Darkness' in order to have them side with the Traveler.
Key emotional moment in the series will be upon the destruction of the Traveler; your Ghost will die with it.

done, also I am a pretty competitive gamer in everything I play but im not a jerk about it, if I die I die if we lose we lose. I just really enjoy competing and playing to win. If there are any other competitive gamer gaffers out there or casual that wants a PS4 buddy feel free to add me.

When I say picked up, I really mean that I bought one from that $250 deal on CowBoom the other day, and plan on returning it to GameStop for the money required to pick up a new one when it arrives next week.
So I'm not sure how I like it yet. I'll only have whatever I got for free from PS+ until the Destiny Beta releases, so I'll probably be playing a lot of Resogun. Considering picking up Infamous as well though.

The alpha was awesome so the beta can only be better, can't wait.

wow nice, I also believe all the PS4's fall under the one year factory warranty don't qoute me on that though. I have a friend who bought one off a guy he knows for 250 and he got it swapped out for a brand new one from Sony. He did say the disc drive was acting funny so they just sent him a coffin and mailed him a brand new PS4 once they received his. War Thunder and Blacklight Retro are some really fun free to play games. I hope planetside 2 comes soon that is a pretty good one as well.

Reef is a location in Destiny. here
Mercury... don't know. We know with relatively absolute certainty every location in that map will be available, but locations previously teased outside that map, not sure. No denial, no confirmation.
Same with Europa. Though Europa is seen as kinda even less likely since we've seen zero in-game assets of an ice world in Destiny so far.
Yes! I was just thinking about this. Its driving me insane that I can't categorize friends by groups.
I have like 20-30 people and I don't even remember how I met half of them. Having a GAF tab would be wonderful.
