Does not liking a character as much as the rest of the internet really make you a hipster? I always figured video games post 1996 were incompatible with that mindset.

Four of those leaked before hand, and not from early copies or anything, iirc. Ness/Marth were in the intro movie, and Jigglypuff and Lucario icons were accidentally in a video showing off certain modes.

Actually, they don't play "games", they play cinematic interactive storytelling experiences.
There are ground sections instead of just shooting, I don't think Sin & Punishment had anything like those. The weird set-up is completely unnecessary. I've never used it, and I never felt like it was required. Maybe it just depends on your hands or something. Also, online is indeed fun.
That's kinda sad. Hopefully he can win the battle and recover against his sickness. I wish you all the best, Prog!
It's good to see that he won't be making a full departure from the scene, but damn it's still upsetting to see this. I sincerely hope that he's able to beat these health issues. Prog (and D1) have made my "return to Smashdom" such an amazing ride. Dude is also humble and approachable as hell, it's always great to shoot a message his way and get a nice timely response back.

hope you get well soon, Prog. I will miss your commentating but your health is more important.Nintendo made you unlock characters in MK8, and they spoiled the entire cast weeks before the game shipped.
I figure unlocking will be one of the things that works for the 3DS <-> Wii U interaction they've mentioned.

the single player content is different so the requirements to unlock the characters in each game will probably be different too. I do wonder if the hidden characters will be the same across both versions though.
