Oh, I also wanted to say how awesome it is to see such a strong group of female leads. I hope that dynamic is present throughout the season, and beyond.
Who else on the lacrosse team is supernatural? Isn't it only Scott? Of course, it has been a while since they've actually shown the lacrosse team so I may be forgetting. Unless you're talking about Boyd and Isaac.

What a fantastic opener. Setting the entire thing in Mexico was a great idea. Loved the continuation of horror stuff in the second half of the episode (Derek's crypt, Meso-American mythology bleeding into the series, the abandoned town and creepy church, the trap that disabled the Jeep). The bone creature thing was really creepy. It's probably like the "
" from Hannibal in that in regular light it looks dumb, but when lit and shot right, it looks fucking scary.
- Kira's awful dancing was so adorable, and then Malia and Kira dancing together was THE SINGLE GREATEST TELEVISION MOMENT OF 2014.
- The mercenary, I can never remember her name.

- Derek de-aged? The fuck. And wow @ whoever called that.

The first Wolf Watch actually was alright, despite the addition of a studio audience.
They cut down on a lot of the awkwardness.
Because it would be dumb to take normal ones to a rave, duh.

One thing I liked about Malia x Stiles this episode was that bit in the car about leaving in the end. You can definitely read it as he was just concerned about her safety but the other is the whole my mother left me too soap opera goodness.
