yeah, I saw some Cardiff City matches during the season and he always gave his all. Even though the team went through some rough patches (WTF is with Tan anyways). With no disrespect meant to you or Cardiff City FC, I think Gary's meant for bigger things - a bigger competition than the Championship (which is, to be fair, still very competitive and arguably better than other, smaller, 1st divisions). I think he deserves a shot at a European competition and after this WC he proved it.
As for today's matches... man, I'm conflicted. I like Netherlands but can't stand Van Gaal (he's a top manager though). I don't particularly like Mexico's national team but they have won me over a bit thanks to their latest performances (and El Piojo's fucking hilarious). I think I could live with a Mexico win. It'd be great.
As for Costa Rica and Greece... go Costa Rica! Pura Vida!

LvG already has enough complaint about this teams footballing abilities, that he's never going to play with 3 right footed CBs. It was more to point out the absurdity, of playing a right winger as LB and someone that played 45 min (??) before in a friendly and Blind as CB. But that's Louis, if he trust someone he will play him, what ever the occasion.
No clue what the result will be, not used to see our team park the bus and rely on the exceptional quality of the two up front.

I could see this go either way. The heat will probably play a major part, Mexico might be able to handle that better. Dutch commentary said that there would be water breaks at 30 and 70 minutes so we'll see how that goes.
