Yeah, I found someone else who posted about that particular instance on Twitter: Bowser had 200%, got hit with KO Uppercut, damage rose to 246%, came back down with Bowser Bomb.

To be fair, Reset Bomb Forest was my first experience with Smash 3DS, and we were not allotted any time in the training room, so maybe it might not be so difficult to maneuver once you get used to it--or at least the first part. The second phase is still a jumbled mess of oddly-shaped platforms. It's a shame, too, because I absolutely adore KI:U.
Guess I aught to applaud the new Bowser at least.

I'll try to be excited for the stage but so far, it just sounds badly designed.

Christmas Cake.
I looked this up. It looks like regular cake. Am I missing something?

I saw it a few hours ago and there was one contestant who went from 0% to 39%.
Yeah, that's what I seem to recall happen during the tourney. The character went slightly off screen but came back down.

Lucina will be a
Marth Alt costume
and you will accept this
Just an alt will still be so lame because his grunts will still be Marth's :/

I wish it tasted like normal cake. Christmas Cake tastes horribad to me and I'm still baffled why anyone could like it, but everyone has different tastes :3
It's basically a kind of fruit cake so it has raisins and stuff in it.

Surviving a KO punch at 200%? Jeeeezusss... Either Bowser's weight has been increased to 999, or momentum cancelling is back in full force from Brawl.

Its like a fruit cake? Ewww.
...
Cheescake is good.

I like ice cream cakes a lot. Like, the kind you get from Dairy Queen with the really good chocolate inside. Good shit.

Back on topic does anyone have like, a list of all the Smash Run enemies so far? I know that sounds pretty overwhelming, but someone the other day said Scyther is an enemy and I gotta check that out.

In regards to characters like Isaac, I think one thing that many have failed to notice is that Nintendo's first-party characters seem to get priority over those created by second-party developers. That's why we see popular choices like Isaac, Saki, Ray MK III, and Starfy added as assist trophies rather playable characters.

With the exception of third-party guests and Pokemon due to its immense popularity, all other roster spots are taken up by first-party Nintendo characters.

Cheesecake is great, but ill settle for the old vanilla and chocolate layers.

Honestly, Jolt Haymaker is his only recovery. His Rising Uppercut gets barely any height when used in the air, and there's no horizontal movement to the attack.

That's definitely goes with what I've been hearing and seeing. I wonder if he'll get a slight boost in the final build but it's not a deal breaker for me with Mac.

So does anyone think Animal Crossing should get a second rep. What about one of the holiday characters like Jack?

Much as I love AC, I can't think of any other plausible/deserving reps. Holiday characters like Jack appear once a year, do their thing, and leave. The only other characters who are prominent enough in AC to perhaps merit a spot on the roster are K.K. Slider and Tom Nook, but what would their movesets be? Villager's moveset pretty well exhausts everything that's unique to AC.

Was this ever mentioned? I guess there are going to be hidden characters again.

Nintendo employee: “Characters themselves are still going to unlock as traditionally they do. All the characters are gonna be in the game. The Amiibo characters are not going to be what are unlocking characters.”

Thank you for bring it to us! :)

It's nice to know that unlockable characters are going to be in the game.

At least I'll know when to schedule a 'vacation' so I can spend an entire week unlocking everyone

Guess that means even if some of who we've seen are unlockable (Luigi/T.Link/3rd parties) Marth is still a starter now, since it'd be weird to have one of the 14 Amiibo's not immediately usable with the game.

Now I remember, so someone need to pay up with avatar bet since I just won. :P

Hey Fisheyes, let me know if you read this since I just won the bet . :P

Please go with Melee's style of unlocking newcomers and a few vets, and not Brawl's style of unlocking vets and a few newcomers. It's more exciting when you're unlocking characters whose play styles you haven't learned yet.

I would like it to have the N64/Melee style of unlocking characters. Like playing tons of hours on Vs mode, or finishing an event match. Seeing that challenger approaching screen really hypes me for my efforts.

Wouldn't that be a stepback? Brawl had better "methods" by virtue of either unlocking to SSE, matches played, or something special.
